Seymour is a smart guy, but smarts don’t always = combat strength. Ash has a lot of pokemon, but even without them he’d probably pwn. Ash has superior hand to hand skills. He also has his aura from the Manaphy film. Seymour loses his first fight, but maybe he’ll be back. Ash wins.
