Sabata and Proto Man are pretty similar. They’ve even got most of the same powers. Sabata has less powers to choose from which is what costs him. They both have beams and while Sabata can teleport, Proto Man has the better speed. It’s a tough fight, but Sabata loses this round. Proto Man wins.

Why is Protoman is faster? Have you played Boktai? Zero shift is like the dashes in the Megaman games, but faster, and classified as a teleport because Sabata can go through things while he’s in the dash, although I couldn’t get it to work right in Boktai 2. Also, he uses it constantly when you fight him in Boktai one.
Yeah, Sabata is extremely fast and I didn’t mean that Proto Man had a massive speed advantage. Just that I think he’s faster. He’s also got the jets and in the manga he has super speed without them. Sabata definitely sounds like a tough opponent, but Proto Man has more powers
