Well, in this one the title is a bit misleading. (At least where I’m up too. I’ve only read volume 1 so far) Right now Cobra Commander is “dead” (doubt it) so to decide who will become the next leader, Cobra’s top ranking officers are competing over how many Joes they can all kill. They’ve all been destroying plenty of Joes so I’m not sure who’s in the lead. So far I’d say this arc is more like Marvel’s Secret War. Just a lot of villains vs good guys, but since the government is corrupt in GI Joe, it’s possible that a Civil War will happen later on
