Exodia may be known as the Forbidden One, but he won’t be able to take down a being as powerful as Black War Greymon. Black War Greymon was able to hold his own against two other Mega level Digimon at once and Exodia wouldn’t be able to match such a feat. Black War Greymon’s Terra Destroyer attack is basically DBZ level and it would instantly destroy Exodia or at least cause some massive damage. Exodia wouldn’t be quick enough to dodge this attack. Black War Greymon wins.

  1. In the yugioh ‘exodia cards’ and in official sources e.g. manga, they say that Exodia has infinite attack (and infinite defence I think). As far as I know, WarGreyMon’s most powerful abilities include attacks which are as powerful as several nuclear bombs set off together, but that still isn’t as powerful as infinite power i.e. Exodia’s power. Also, I think WarGreyMon isn’t the most powerful Digimon in his universe and has been beaten by others and his power is surpassed by others e.g. Zeedmillenniamon (I think I spelt the name wrong), Shoutman final form, however Exodia is the most powerful in his universe perhaps (on par with Horakhty who is a goddess that I hate and Exodia only lost to Zorc because he was powered by an old man in that scene and he wasn’t backed by his original power which he had before he was sealed by magic). Exodia is powerful enough to annihilate 3 blue-eyes white dragons (which have legendary power as said in the cards) without breaking a sweat and he gives an auto win no matter what cards are on the other side which means he can annihilate the Egyptian Gods, Nordic Gods, Leviathan, Sacred Beasts and all the others (except Horakhty) if they were all against him. I think Exodia wins

    • I still wouldn’t say infinite though. Yugi’s Grandpa gave in first, but he was taking a lot of damage against Zorc and would have certainly lost the fight in the end. War Greymon isn’t the strongest Digimon so I agree with you there, but I do still think that Exodia would have lost regardless of the host. Even beating the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon is a bit of a stretch for me, but it’s believable. I think it would be very hard for him to keep up with Black War Greymon’s speed though and the hits would certainly take their toll.

  2. As I’ve mentioned before, Exodia has infinite attack according to officials cards and manga (and infinite defence I think). WarGreyMon is nowhere close to infinite power and at best has something like the destructive capability of multiple nuclear bombs. Also WarGreyMon is not the best in his own universe anyway and there are others that surpass him e.g. Zeedmillenniamon (spelt wrong I think) and final form Shoutman. Exodia, on the other hand, is on par with Horakhty (I don’t like Horakhty) and only lost to Zorc because he was powered by an old man and was not powered by his own infinite life source which had before he was sealed by magic. He also is a auto win condition in the game and can beat all others including Egyptian Gods, Nordic Gods, Sacred Beasts if they were all put against him. He annihilated 3 blue eyes white dragons who’re said to have legendary power in the cards. I think Exodia wins.

    • We can safely ignore the auto win condition though since that’s gameplay mechanics. I agree that Horakhty was never a very interesting character and she’s not all that cool. I’d take Exodia in a fight over her, but I still think that he’s a little outmatched here, mainly due to the difference in speed.

      • Hmmm but WarGreyMon’s speed isn’t going to help him if his opponent supposedly has infinite defense i.e. Exodia…think of it as a wasp buzzing at high speed trying to affect a slow rhino with its stinger. Sure, the wasp is strong in its own right against other insects and is less lumbering than a rhino but that won’t do much good against a rhino’s excellent armour. Btw I love your blogs and I wish you the best in your future my friend. Please could you provide me with BlackWarGreymon’s best feats so I have a better idea of his feats? If I find his feats powerful enough to beat Exodia then I’ll change my mind and say that he could beat Exodia. Also I hope you forgive me but I got carried away and I clicked Exodia 128 times on the poll. I didn’t expect you to reply and I have a slight mental illness (it doesn’t affect my intelligence though) you see. I’m sorry about that, again I hope you forgive me. It’s just that I think Exodia is too much for WarGreyMon unless you can give me stats that say otherwise.

      • If Exodia has infinite defense then things would be dicey, but I still don’t think that his defense is quite that high. Instead of a wasp vs a Rhino, I’d say that it would be more like Superman vs Shazam. Superman’s certainly stronger, but he’ll still feel Shazam’s blows. Especially since they are reinforced with magical properties which make him all the more lethal. I can’t really think of any good Black War Greymon feats. He stalemated War Greymon, which is pretty good. Yeah, it’s good to see Exodia get so many votes, he’s still got it!

    • Yeah, it’s really hard to place Exodia. He showed some good strength against Zorc, but you can really only give it the eyeball test since there are no hard numbers there.

      • It definitely has! Things have been going very well. I got to enjoy the Marvel Civil War film and I’m finally starting to play Final Fantasy VII a bit. How are things with you?

Hmm Final Fantasy VII šŸ™‚ do you mean the PlayStation version or the new remake? My favourite Final Fantasy is the first one XD

      • The original Final Fantasy VII. It’s been long overdue so I’m happy to finally be playing it. I’m up to the save Tifa mission. The game is quickly back on the backburner though as I finish TMNT Mutants in Manhattan and De Blob 2, but then I’m heading right back in. Well, when you do see Batman V Superman you’ll be happy to know that it is awesome.

      • I think I know what you mean. There’s a section there too on my polls, but there’s no way to be notified on the comments there so it can typically be dicey. Will remember that for the future posts though.

  13. Exodia is very big, but that doesn’t mean much against someone like BlackWarGreyMon. Two terra destroyers at least should finish off Exodia. Im a long time fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but even i see Exodia is out matched here.
