Tycho (UESC) vs Viki

Both of these artificial intelligences are pretty smart and they have a lot of influence in technology. That being said, Viki’s a super computer that has a lot of memory on her side. Tycho (UESC) is also impressive, but he doesn’t seem like he would last against her. Viki’s dominant personality would essentially vanquish Tycho’s as she would take over his systems. In a battle of A.I. there can only be one winner! Viki wins.

    • He seems like an intriguing character. He ended up going a little crazy so he’s not really my kind of character, but he’s a tough A.I. I’m not sure about him beating Viki though

      • Going rampant isn’t the same as going crazy. Or do you think he’s crazy as a result of being reconditioned by the Pfhor?

He’s as smart as any AI, and as ruthless as Vegeta.

When he took over the Pfhor fleet, He beamed the commander into space so that he could be seen by all his subordinates, but kept the part of his head that was interfaced with the command systems, so that Tycho could impersonate him better. Tycho is amazing.

VIKI is the crazy one. She’s deluded herself into thinking that she’s helping humanity, and following the three laws of robotics.

      • Ah, I didn’t mean crazy as irrational. More like a self induced insanity. He’s still aware of what’s going on and he certainly didn’t lose any intellect. It was really just a choice that he made. I don’t believe that the reconditioning cracked Tycho. Perhaps it helped to bring out another side of him, but he’s still the Tycho that we know and root for…sometimes.

Tycho is definitely a serious threat, but I believe that Viki may be able to beat him when it comes to who can hack each other’s equipment first. It really just becomes a cyber battle because whoever can destroy the other’s programming from the inside first will claim victory. It’s especially tough with a battle between two A.I. since we never really see the full extent of either fighter’s abilities. Tycho sounds like a decent character, although not personally my type of villain.
