Hyperion is a very powerful marvel character and definitely one of their top tier fighters. Still, I don’t think he would last long against the Man of Steel. Superman’s used to fighting at high speeds and his combat experience far surpasses that of Hyperion’s. Superman’s stats are better physically and he’s also a better fighter mentally as well. Superman wins.

Depends which Hyperion, if it’s King Hyperion then no question Supes loses. But let’s go with 712 version which is the good Avenger Hyperion. We’ll yes he’s a Superman copy cat, but Hyperion gets his powers from cosmic radiation and can manipulate it and alter his beams to the red sun radiation, it would cut thru Supes like butter or it would weakened Superman enough for Hyperion to beat him to all pulp!!!!
Hyperion is no joke. Manipulating his energy is pretty cool and I do think Superman will probably underestimate him. That being said, I’d still give Superman the edge here on account of his crazy strength and speed feats. Hyperion wouldn’t really be able to keep up with him.
