Protoman is extremely fast and he’s a tough opponent to get past. His skills are legendary and very few can even hope to defeat him. Kamina definitely could not win against such a foe and he is doomed to take a loss in this round. He’s not a very likable character so it’s definitely for the best. Protoman wins.

I didn’t really start to enjoy the series until around episode 10 or so. Once a certain character is…..no longer around, the series went up immeasureably. Simon makes for a great lead and the fight scenes are some of the best in the anime biz. Thanks! 🙂 Cool avatar as well!

I can neither confirm nor deny that for spoiler reasons 😛 Needless to say, the series does have quite a few characters that I do not like. Kamina, Leeroy, Rossiu, but also a lot of cool characters like Simon, Viral, Anti Spiral leader, and Neeya. (Not how her name is spelled, but that’s how it’s pronounced) It’s a decently good show, but it can get very intense so I always make sure to hesitantly recommend it.
Intense like “Mature rating” intense, or Fullmetal Alchemist intense?
Oh no, definitely not MA level. It’s TV-14, so about Fullmetal level. (Unless you mean Brotherhood) Gurren Lagann really isn’t that violent…at all. In terms of violence, there isn’t really a whole lot so it should feel tame compared to Fullmetal. The main reason why it’s TV-14 is likely due to the fanservice. Unfortunately, the series has quite a lot of it (Until the character leaves the show for good) during the earlier episodes. Once you reach episode 10 (Around there) then the series gets really cool, but also pretty safe. So, I’d definitely say that it’s more like Fullmetal and in violence terms, it’s a lot less than shows like Naruto or Bleach
