Jonathan Joestar makes his debut on the blog and it’s against another character from the Jo Jo franchise. Jotaro is pretty skilled in his own right and those wind abilities of his can be pretty fierce. That being said, Jonathan is physically a lot more capable than Jotaro and his super strength should be enough to deal with Kujo’s stand. Having a healing factor to back him up is another edge for Jonathan. Jonathan Joestar wins.
Update 7/16/2023 I have been convinced that Jonathan would not be able to win this one. Ultimately Jotaro’s stand is a little too powerful and Jonathan’s options would be limited in trying to counter it. Jotaro Kujo wins.

Jonathan can’t actually see Star Platinum, let alone make contact with it. He’s not a stand user.
Are you sure about that? I’ve heard that humans have been able to make contact with them before on a discussion board
Actually, the way I see it, Jonathan’s stand is The World, so he would do just fine
No Jonathan’s stand is not the world it would most likely be something similar to hermit purple
Yes i know dio stole jonathans body but stands are supposed to be a reflection of a users so called life energy or a physical projection of someones fighting spirit
Since dio soul and mind are only in jonathans body, then dio’s stand is the world

Whatever discussion board told you that humans can simply just “make contact” with Stands is simply wrong. Any non Stand user that would be able to do that would at least need some sort of power that allows them to view beings similar to Stands, and then allow them to physically contact them. Jonathan has precisely zero powers that allow this. Hamon as a power system exists solely to wipe out undead creatures like vampires. There is no reason to extend this to being able to touch or even see a Stand.
So Jonathan can’t simply just rush in and take care of Star Platinum. He’s going to getting utterly throttled by a barrage of punches all over his body. Also there’s time stop, which totally eliminates Jonathan’s ability to function at all for a maximum of five seconds. Which normally might not mean a lot, but with Star Platinum this is huge. Hundreds of punches being thrown at Jonathan with zero methods of stopping them from hitting. He can try to use all the Hamon techniques he wants, but at the end of the day he’s got to stick to a CQC fighting style which requires the use of his limbs to function. And in this sort of fighting style Jotaro and Star Platinum are simply going to dominate since they can intercept his blows but Jonathan cannot intercept Star Platinum’s.
Gotcha, I may have been overrating Jonathan here. It sounds like his stats really don’t hold up so he may actually get wiped here which was definitely not in the gameplan. He’s not equipped to handle hundreds of blows like that and even having his combat experience won’t be enough to turn the tables. As much as I didn’t want to admit it, you may be onto something here. There just isn’t a way to resist this level of powerful attacks. It’ll all be game over for Jonathan

Yes in a hand to hand combat fight without star platinum jotaro would lose but with star platinum jotaro easily wins
Now before you bring up the but cant jonathan touch stands since other non stand users have been able too?
Thats not the case with every stand, only a few minor exceptions have been made, even then some stand users like jotaro have been able to make their stands both physical and intagible
Jotaro has been able to make star platinum use its phasing to steal jewels in locked glass cases and even phase through josephs body to get his heart pumping
there has been no non stand user that has been capable of even harming star platinum and jonathan is no exception
Yes jonathan’s hamon is very strong but it would not eb able to harm star platinum, now i know joseph has been capable of harming stands with hamon but that was only possible with his stand hermit purple which could conduct hamon and allow hamon to actually hurt stands
But since jonathan does not have access to a stand in the first place, hamon wont work
Even if he did and he could damage sp with hamon, jonathan would still he forced to deal with jotaro’s time stop, and he has no way to counter it, not even joseph could counter time stop even with hamon and hermit purple
and normally jonathan cant see star platinum due to not being a stand user so even if they were evenly matched in speed jonathan not being able to see star platinum would put him at a disadvantage

It’s a fair point, I can’t really defend against much of that tbh. Jonathan doesn’t seem as impressive as I thought he was and it does seem like Jotaro power creeps him rather hard. It’s difficult to defeat an opponent who is at such a higher level than you. With a single move that’s the end of everything and Jonathan likely won’t be able to react in time. His time at the top has come to an end
