Naruto wins this battle. Luffy would probably beat Naruto if not for the 9 Tailed Fox. But he does have it so we can’t ignore it. With 4 Tailed form he’d probably beat Luffy easily. At least it is shown that Luffy is durable so he might last a while. Naruto wins.
Update! Naruto still wins this battle, but the 4 Tailed Form won’t be enough. Naruto will need to enter his Sage Mode or Chakra Mode if he wants to defeat Luffy. Luffy is going to be the Pirate King after all, so he’s pretty tough. His haki will be able to keep Naruto at a distance and make this an epic fight.

Your gonna need more detail then that. While i do agree naruto can beat luffy your gonna need more detail. luffy at best was able to punch through solid bedrock while naruto is strong enough to destroy continents. as for speed luffy and naruto have both faced light speed attacks before so you could say there equal,until naruto enters sage mode or activates six paths mode which allows him to sense movements better so while they are similar in speed naruto with enchanced sensory abilties can allow him to react to luffy’s attacks better then luffy can with naruto’s attacks. as for healing, naruto’s healing is far more superior. luffy can only heal when he eats massive amounts of food while naruto’s regeneration just requires his every day normal chakra. and finnaly for durability its debatable. luffy is made of rubber so he can certainly tank alot of naruto’s attacks and naruto with sage mode alone is already enough to tank anything luffy can throw at him, but since naruto’s regen is far better i would say he can outlast luffy and get a killing blow in. i dont think luffy’s rubber body is gonna save him from a giant purple energy ball that can destroy mountains.
Yeah I can definitely buy into all of that. Luffy is very powerful to be sure but he’s not quite on Naruto’s level. Naruto solos for sure

Anyway let me break down
Starting with luffy because i had pretty much ruined luffy’s feats previously and i would like to fix it.
Now i have seen a lot of people saying how gear 5 could easily mid diff naruto
Whats worse is that i have seen people say that gear 4 could mid diff baryon mode naruto
And i would like to clarify that both of these statements are not true
Whats also not true is naruto being universal.
Those are from narutards who love to put naruto up so high in feats, in short there high as fuck.

Kinshiki looks for Kaguya because she betrayed the Clan, he looked for her out there ALONE jumping around in her Dimension… He was able to Crack Space just because he was searching for her whereabouts, which is Solar System Feat. But of course we are gonna scale it down to planetary or multi planetary

Now considering how a kurama chakra mode so60 naruto could keep up with fused momoshiki in a fight, Naruto would have to be at least be capable of fighting planetary foes, yes he had help from sasuke but later in the future the dude fights isshiki with baryon mode and overpowers him. Sure its still a weakened and dying isshiki but none the less naruto has to be planetary or at least multi planetary.

I definitely agree with you about Naruto taking this over Luffy. Right now Luffy’s still the weakest of the big 3 but for sure Gear 5 has helped him out. I’d say what Luffy needs to focus on now is more stamina in Gear 5. His speed and power have already taken tremendous leaps and his defense as well with how he can sort of just pop back up but Naruto just seems to have the edge.
Now I think it’s safe to say that Naruto will probably never get another big power up again so the question is if Luffy can get one more power up since One Piece likely has another 5-6 years left in the tank. If that is the case and he gets a Gear 6 or something then it’s probably curtains for Naruto
as of right now yes naruto can beat fluffy in a fight, but since one piece still plans to continue for a few more years, if luffy has like some mastery over gear 5 or gains another gear like you said and we see its feats then luffy could end up winning in the future
Agian this is assuming that luffy gets any stronger above planetary or at least has some hack to counter naruto’s abilities.
Im not sure if naruto himself will get any stronger but there all a few outcomes
A: He ends up sticking with sage mode and soon enough gets outclassed by a lot of the new characters like boruto and kawaki
B: naruto some how gains kurama back and masters baryon mode or gets a new form (this one is HIGHLY unlikely)
c: Naruto trains and his powers become similar to his strength when he had kurama chakra mode and six paths (also highly unlikely)
I feel like baryon mode was a sendoff to naruto’s story while also a way to nerf his abilities
Agian in the future we don’t know if luffy will surpass naruto or not.
But as of right now as i write this,Naruto is still second strongest of the big 3
Yeah Luffy definitely has a shot if he continues to get stronger but I feel like in a lot of ways Wano was the end of Luffy’s journey in strength. I don’t see any kind of Gear 6 coming and while he will probably improve his haki, I’m not expecting it to be by a great amount. Naruto should be safe even without a new mode but of course we can’t know that for sure so we’ll have to see how the ball bounces
