  1. Although
I also agree bowser would lose this fight. But I do not for one second believe it would be one sided. Ryu in his state of nothingness was capable of demolishing and skyscraper. In this form he can dodge point blank gunfire and in his evil Ryu (dark hado) form he can just walk through gun fire. Not to mention that in his normal state he was capable of upper cutting a man twice his size through the chest! He has incredible martial arts skill and has dealt with beastly enemies before. However bowser in not your everyday beast. He has shown great resilience. Bowser has survived a several thousand ton castle falling on him and he walked away with barely any injury. He also frequently falls into pits of lava and always seems to return to fight Mario in the next game. He even survived and SUPERNOVA in super Mario galaxy! He is strong as hell too! In “Bowsers Inside Story” he was able to lift a castle similar to the size of his own. And considering that his castle looks to be about five times larger than the several thousand ton castle stated above, then he must be able to lift at least a few million pounds and that’s not even counting his giant form. His only downside is that he’s kind of an idiot. I believe Ryu would have a very hard time with bowser and would have to resort to using Akuma’s forbidden technique. This would use all of bowsers past sins against him and ultimately eradicate him. But if Ryu did not posses this skill I feel as though he would be out of his league considering bowsers pure toughness. The fight goes to Ryu but barely.

    • Yes, but in Asura’s Wrath Ryu was holding his own against someone who can basically break planets. Aside from the strength feat here, Ryu’s speed was also super impressive. For all of Bowser’s strength, it would be hard for him to keep up. Bowser has some great feats in the Mario games, but a lot of them I would also attribute to Toon Force and comedy. Bowser’s just not as strong as the feats would make him seem
