Jean Grey vs Starscream (Unicron)

Jean Grey hasn’t much power but when she merges with the phoenix then real power can begin. It’s just like the old legends. A Bird of fire gives super powers. Starscream can’t win. Jean Grey wins.

  1. Jean grey has AMAZING power Xavier locked up her true power because it was too strong the Phoenix force is just something that the writers put in because some people said Jean wasn’t really a killer and got upset. But the Phoenix force is Jean not some entity. She has the will to do anything.

    • The Phoenix is it’s own entity. That was proven several times in the comics. Either way Jean Grey easily wins this fight. Starscream isn’t tough enough.

  2. Again, you are wrong! Jean Grey has immense level of power! In the Age of Apocalypse timeline it’s been revealed that she’s the “Mutant Alpha” the codename for the Ultimate and most powerful mutant in existence. She’s an Omega level mutant, and as shown in All New X-Men she’s so powerful that her abilities keep growing endlessly without the Phoenix force, so much that even Quentin Quire Phoenix, lost to an alternate universe non Phoenix, teen-Jean, and no one was able to defeat her; but rather her never ending growth in power overwhelmed her. Hell she took down Emma Frost and the Stepford cuckoos at the same time. You’re not that bright about comics, you just watch the movies and for your opinion based on that. Did you know that the Phoenix force was originally just an extension of Jean Grey’s powers, and not a separate entity? They retconed that because as the person above mentioned, the writers didn’t want Jean to be a killer, so they separated both and made them independent entities. HOWEVER, Jean Grey has since merged back with the Phoenix and now they’re one and the same entity for your information. Check out Classic X-Men #43, Grant Morrison’s New X-Men, and Phoenix: Endsong, in which death, Jean, and the Phoenix themselves state that Jean and the Phoenix force are truly one entity. Which is why Jean had to die many times, and she finally fully merged with the Phoenix force, when she became White Phoenix of the Crown, and she’s in the White Hot Room restoring herself and finding her missing pieces, the Phoenix fragments. Here are scans from Phoenix Endsong to prove this to you:

There you go, you might want to read the comic books before you base your opinion on limited knowledge about the pertaining characters.

    • You gotta admit, it does get sad to be wrong all the time right? I’ll admit that I didn’t give Jean Grey her proper credit here. Are they really the same? I dunno, I think I would still count them as separate entities. They remerged here, but let’s not forget AVX. The Phoenix Force existed before Jean Grey was born and it’ll keep on living after she is gone. It is..The Phoenix!!
