Well Sigma gets another win here. While Zero is a formidable foe, Sigma beat him back in his base form. They have both gotten power ups since, but Sigma’s were just too tough. Sigma wins.
But now Zero has the skills to take down Sigma. Sigma may be powerful, but he lacks the speed Zero has. Zero wins.

And even there it’s implied that Sigma might have lived, since he wasn’t worried. Zero is tough, but Sigma is the ultimate reploid. He takes down all other robots that try to defy him. Zero has a cool sword and vampire form, but Sigma has an Axe which I think clears that up. Sigma wins. Now you can’t disagree with that can you

I agree Swords beat Axes it just felt right to say Axes pwn. Well in the ova Sigma completely defeated Zero. X had to try to save him…..X. One of the weaker Megamans. Also that was before a lot of Sigma’s power ups. Also Zero doesn’t always beat Sigma. Sigma beat him in X4 flashback. Also it’s almost better to die than appear in ZX and get used by some kids/teens
Except that Zero was the reason Sigma went evil in the first place because he beat him up and ripped his arm off. Sigma only “won” because of Zero’s programming deciding to glitch up, and Zero was left alive, became a Maverick Hunter, and proceeded to mow down Sigma in every Megaman X game, especially X4 where the canonical storyline is all about Zero. Yeah, that’s a pretty epic fail on your part.
X is canonically many times stronger than the original Mega Man, so you shut your mouth.
It does not really matter how much stronger Sigma gets. As the player character, Zero always wins against Sigma. He won in X4 and X5, he wins whenever you’re controlling him, and given the absence of Sigma in Megaman Zero, it’s implied he must have been destroyed permanently. Zero wins.

I didn’t want to say it at first, but I think Sigma wins this match. He’s one of the strongest reploids and also is powerful. Zero couldn’t win this match. Sigma wins.
