Mewtwo is a pretty powerful pokemon and has been doing pretty well on the blog lately. Still, this time he’ll be up against one of the newer pokemon fighters….Darkrai! Darkrai has taken on his share of bigshots in the past, but quite possibly none of them were quite as powerful as Mewtwo. Mewtwo’s speed gives him the advantage in this fight. Mewtwo wins.

mewtwo is psychic type, and darkrai is dark. mewtwo`s psychic attacks can not effect darkrai, and darkrai`s dark type moves are super effective against mewtwo. mewtwo may have a higher stat total, but darkrai would win.
Yes, if this were the games Mewtwo would be doomed, but while Darkrai is immune in the games I don’t think he would be in an actual battle. It’s like how Fire can melt water if it’s hot enough. If a Psychic Attack is strong enough I think it would do some damage. Add to this Mewtwo’s speed advantage and I think he has a real shot at winning this one

meh u forget about dark void which has a big range. if mewtwo gets put to sleep darkrai will have an enormous advantage a combination of his natrul ability, nightmare and dream eater will damage mewtwo while recovering darkrai. also even though mewtwo is faster darkrai has more mobility with his ability to turn into a shadow form
Yes, but putting Mewtwo to sleep is something that probably won’t happen. Mewtwo’s psychic abilities will help him resist such an attack and his speed/firepower will keep him out of range from physical attacks while launching a lot of his own. Darkrai is powerful, but this is one match that I don’t think he can win
