Magikarp has his impressive splash attack and he can also evolve to increase his stats dramatically! Of course I’m still going with Blaziken on this one. The type disadvantage could make things a bit dicey, but I think Blaziken’s superior hand to hand skills will win him the day. Blaziken wins.

Blaziken is weaker, if not equal, to Gyarados normally, let alone the fact that Gyarados has a DOUBLE type advantage (Water beats Fire, Flying beats Fighting). I’ll go with Gyarados on this one.
Yes, but Blaziken is faster and is much better at hand to hand combat. It would be tough for Gyarados to get a good shot in at him. The double disadvantage does make things tougher on Blaziken though
Gyarados is actually stronger in physical combat, and marginally faster too. The anime may be misleading on those points, I haven’t seen the Hoenn series.
Well, he may be faster in the official stats, but the anime helps as well. Since it’s composite they can draw their speeds from all variations and I find that Anime Blaziken is faster than the Gyaradoses. Gyarados may be physically stronger, but Blaziken’s Burning Aura (Something like that) increases his power which could make things even. Then of course the hand to hand advantage
wow that’s a solid point. double type advantage. Gyarados has always been amazing in attack and not too shabby in defense. Blaziken hasnt shown any well known defensive maneuvers, and the sheer size advantage might give this one away if Gyarados’s Hyper Beam or Dragon attacks don’t.
But Blaziken has some pretty impressive speed and power. I think he may have this round. Don’t forget that when his health is low he powers up a bit due to his burning effect or something
that he does, but for every attack (lets say his power is 10 for one atack) all gyarados needs to do is blast a attack power 5 water attack and it cancels it out. so if blaizikin is more then twice as strong as Gyaridos’s Hyper beam then yes, he would win. and fire types arent known for excellent speed.
But Blaziken should be able to dodge and bring the fight into close quarters combat. Once there, then he should be safe 🙂
No he isn’t. Physically Blaziken is weaker than Gyarados, while Blaziken is a better Special fighter.

even though gyrados has an advantage cause of his type blazikin now’s the four killing moves flare blitz, sky uppercut ,and flamethrower along with a new move that was added from the generation 5 game close combat learned at lvl 95
Yes, Blaziken is a very impressive fighter and that’s why the type advantage won’t be enough. His hand to hand skills are very good and the fire will just tack on extra damage to ensure his win
