The Silver Surfer is incredibly fast and his power is also considerable as well. Defeating him would definitely take a lot of muscle. Zero has his Z saber so he can keep up with Silver Surfer and knock him for a loop. Things just got hardcore! Zero definitely wins a lot! Zero wins.

That version of zero is from megaman x. His feats are nothing compared to silver surfer. Surfer can easily dodge z saber and over power him with the power cosmic.
I don’t believe that he would be able to dodge the Z Saber. Also, Zero has his Vampire Form from Command Mission, which allows him to fly and it greatly increases all of his statistics. Silver Surfer would have a tough time trying to land a hit on the Maverick Hunter. Zero’s attack power is high enough to injure the Surfer and that would be the match.
Unless zero is fast enough to travel through time and to other dimensions, then surfer can quit easily speed blitz him.
We’ve never seen Zero use his full speed, but we can basically tell that he’s FTL from the way that he dashes in MVC3 and his epic moments in Command Mission. I’d say that he can accomplish those tasks, but either way his speed does the talking for him
How can the hell can you tell if a character in mvc3 is moving at light speed just from seeing them do a dash? By that logic, wesker is FTL since he can dash so fast you can’t see him until he appears in back of you from seemingly nowhere. All characters can dash. Mvc3 is a terrible source since it severely weakens characters so that they’re not as fast or powerful and are all equal in strength and speed. Zero never came close to FTL speeds and none of your evidence proves that.
It’s more of a last resort. You can see the afterimages when he quickly zooms, which shows how immensley fast he is. Wesker is also Very fast although I wouldn’t put him at FTL speeds. He could easily take out the cinematic Avengers with his abilities. I agree that gameplay mechanics should be taken with a grain of salt. Zero doesn’t have an abundance of evidence for his speed because he rarely has to go all out in his quest to win. Few opponents can make him get serious
Afterimages? Shuckle can use double team which makes him move so fast he creates afterimages. But do you really think one of the slowest Pokemon is FTL. I guess we can assume that with certain powerups and equipment, zero can reach FTL speeds. But again, no other feat he has shown is close to that speed. When you said that he can defeat the cinematic avengers with his abilities, were you talking about zero or wesker?
I meant Wesker on that one. I definitely think Zero could also take them down of course. Well, Afterimages aren’t the end all as far as FTL goes (After all, Nightwing has been shown to use afterimages in the past) but Shuckle is very fast. Definitely not light speed or even hypersonic, but I dare say that supersonic speeds wouldn’t be a stretch for him. Most Pokemon are just inherently fast; so even though he’s slow for a Pokemon, he’s still pretty fast. As for Zero, in his weakened body from the Zero games; he is able to casually dodge lightning. It can be argued that since it’s gameplay, it matters little. Instead of saying he’s a lightning timer; we can just say that he’s supersonic. Then Zero has his All Black mode, which amps up his abilities slightly. After that, we have his Vampire mode and then you can equip items onto him to pad out his stats even further. This results in some Intense speed!
Thor can dodge lightning, has other power boosting forms, and special equipment from iron man. I’m not saying silver surfer can beat him, but be can give him a good fight. And I’m pretty sure that Thor > zero. So that would mean surfer can quit easily match if not defeat zero.
