Swinub is a dependable pokemon, but he won’t be able to match up against this opponent. Pikachu has his Quick Attack and one good shot will be enough to win the round. Swinub isn’t nearly fast enough to keep up with Pikachu and he doesn’t have much in the way of defense. Pikachu is definitely on a roll! Pikachu wins.

You do realize that Swinub:
a) is immune to electricity
b) eventually evolves into Mamoswine, who does, in fact, have quite a lot by the way of defense
c) has attacks a lot stronger than Quick attack
Well, you can never be truly immune to electricity. He’s just highly resistant to thunder attacks. Swinub is powerful, but he’s far slower than Pikachu. Quick Attack will do a lot of damage and Pikachu can also resort to Iron Tail to end the battle faster. Mamoswine may be able to endure several attacks, but Pikachu’s speed will enable him to keep on landing hits on him until he goes down
