Godzilla is immensely powerful, but Metalman is one opponent that he cannot defeat. His Atomic Breath won’t be able to get past Metalman’s super charged fist and Metalman’s definitely got the speed advantage. He just needs to get in close enough to land a solid punch that will end the match. Metalman wins.

Godzilla can blast missiles, but they are big objects that can’t dodge and have a fixed course. Metalman kept up with Megaman, so his speed is definitely considerable. His Metal Fist can block Godzilla’s atomic breath, which also evens the playing field

True, but while those missiles were indeed big, they were supersonic fast to and in most cases godzilla would have to turn his head to hit them, a major speed feat for him. Metalman was not quite a quick as megaman (and remember this was megaman before he fought protoman, and protoman was blitzing him (he was only mach speed) left and right. Godzilla shouldn’t have a problem tagging him.
I dunno, he makes it when they’re fired from very far away, but not close range. Protoman’s mach speed, but Megaman was keeping up with him. Not to mention that Megaman gets progressively stronger as the series goes on. Metalman is very powerful so each of his hits will do a lot of damage to Godzilla. Metalman may not be the fastest guy out there, but he gets the job done
They can’t shoot it too close, they’d be blown out the sky. And no megaman was not keeping up well their first battle, he struggled, check the manga, he gets stronger, but wasn’t then. Abd his hits will do nothing, not strong or big enough.
In the manga and anime, Megaman was close. He barely lost in the manga and likely would have won in the anime. If they shot it closer, Godzilla would get hit by the missilles. Metalman was able to hurt Savageman so a couple of good shots should be able to knock out Big G. Godzilla is powerful, but he lacks speed and that is a critical factor that can’t be overlooked
No it was close, but.megaman barely hung in there, he clearly wasn’t up to speed, and protoman wasn’t even sonic speed during that fight, so no he wouldn’t be fast enough. And the ones that are close aren’t sonic speed and wouldn’t hurt him, why waste his breath? Protoman seemed to be moving at super sonic speeds during the fight against Megaman. Savageman is definitely more durable than Godzilla. Godzilla is tough…against other Kaiju and the Government. Throw him in against Metalman and we’ll see how long he lasts. Metalman is just too tough at this point and he definitely has the speed advantage over Godzilla. His Metal Fist attack will end this

I think we’re underestimating Protoman’s speed a little too much in this one. Bass was light speed from his very first appearance and Protoman quickly rose to a level where he could give him a (not) decent fight. Protoman quickly rose to the level of light speed and likewise with Megaman. Metalman may not be light speed, but I’d say that he’s easily supersonic and maybe hyper sonic. I don’t think it would be extremely far fetched to call him light speed, but for sake of argument, let’s not go there just yet. Godzilla tanks energy blasts from other Monsters! That’s not as impressive as it sounds since they are all under Godzilla in power. They break buildings from time to time, but that’s nothing compared to Megaman’s Mega Buster. Metalman was able to completely nullify the Mega Buster blasts with his fist, now that’s a feat! Savageman wouldn’t even be affected by Elecman so where are you getting that? They’ve never even fought! 😮 Metalman is a lot stronger than a missile and his fights against Megaman and Savageman prove this. Godzilla may be King of the Monsters, but he stands no chance against Godzilla!
Who said bass was lightspeed in his first appearence? Protoman was stated to be mach 1 or 2 in the manga, his first two encounters, that’s a fact. I think you assumed his speed was something that it clearly wasn’t. The kaiju are extremely powerful and knock over buildings on accident, more than early megaman can say. And elecman can hurt him, especially with his elecsword, it was an example. He’s small and though he’s tougher than a missile, he is not tough enough to hurt godzilla, at all.
Ironically, it was Protoman who stated this in Bass’s first appearance. This statement occurs during volume 3 of the manga I believe. “I’m not talking sound, I’m talking Light!” He said something like that. Protoman was at mach 5 I believe, but he got much faster since he was able to fight with Bass later on. That’s why it’s not good to assume such low levels of speed for EXE characters, like supersonic, etc. Megaman can easily knock out buildings and while Elecman could hurt Metalman in theory, the same could be said about him and Godzilla so it doesn’t help Godzilla’s case. Metalman is far too quick for Godzilla and trust me, his hits would definitely hurt Godzilla…A lot!
ok, i see where you got bass’ speed, but as stated protoman was supersonic at the time, and much fatser than megaman, so id say metalman is only like mach 1 or 2. megaman in the beginning could not easily knock down buildings, it was only later did he aquire such power, and no that def helps godzilla’s case, as if he can be hult by elecman, and godzillz wouldn’t be fazed, his attack cant hurt the big G. only attach of the highest tier can hurt godzilla, metalman doesnt fit the bill in strength or speed.
He wasn’t much faster than Megaman. During their first fight, he had the upper hand for the beginning, but Megaman quickly got ready to end things once and for all. He was able to keep up with Protoman’s attack and managed to block/counter attack. He did lose the fight and Protoman was faster than Megaman, but not by such a large margin as you are suggesting. Megaman could easily break buildings from the very beginning of the series! The example with Godzilla is bad and doesn’t help his case for the following reason.
1. Elecman has never fought Godzilla, so we can’t say that his blasts wouldn’t hurt him. Godzilla has been hurt by Ghidorah’s lightning in the past after all and Metalman hasn’t, so would that make Metalman more durable? No, which is why we can’t just throw those hypotheticals into the equation. A better example would be if a lightning bolt was able to hurt Metalman and not Godzilla since he has been shown to be immune to those, but that’s never happened. Elecman’s blasts are far stronger than a regular lightning bolt. Metalman is far stronger and faster than Godzilla and he would take a quick win. His Metal Fist attack just can’t be stopped.

And proof of pre-metalman megaman knocking over a building like object would help your case, as he can’t take a boulder without damage, so i seriously doubt it. His relation and potential is what makes him the ultimate. He couldn’t knock them down before at all, if so prove it. My comparison was fine, you just missed it. Megaman was already that powerful. From volume one and episode one of the manga and anime, he continued to dominate. Megaman casually caught Gutsman’s punch, compared to that, a building is nothing! It is moot since you don’t have any proof 🙂
Surviving attacks from a low level megaman is not impressive, middle of series mega maybe, but not beginner megaman. And ripped off arms are cool, but so could some others who are no where near godzilla’s durability. And yeah electricity does, not lightning, two diff things.
That is very impressive and how was that low level? They fought in Series 2, so Megaman already had a lot of power and experience under his belt. He was certainly not a beginner. Also, he didn’t rip off his arms, just broke his claws. Electricity and Lightning are different…but not in this case. Godzilla just doesn’t have the abilities needed to win this round

No, compared to Godzilla, it’s a whole different league. Godzilla wouldn’t be able to keep up with those guys and Megaman has enough sheer power to destroy Godzilla in a battle of brute strength. Remember his battle against Giant Laserman? Electricity and Lightning function as the same thing in this round. Metalman just needs his Metal Punch and Missilles to take this round. If this were a battle against mega then i agree it would be better, however since it’s not meegamans battle it’d be better to leave his examples out :-P. And he can keep up with them, as he can tag rodan and fire rodan and he’s multiple times the speed of sound, and drop the electricty thing, it’s irrelevant. Metalpunch would do nothing to a being capable of withstanding a bombardment of giant and small missiles unharmed, so metal missile wouldn’t work either. Metalman would lose bad.
Alright, just as long as we’re clear that Megaman’s a casual Planet Buster 😎 He’s able to hit Rodan because he’s a really big object who isn’t able to maneuver very well. Not to mention that he may be “Supersonic” but is typically slower than a mach 5. Thunder should always be relevant. Metalman’s missiles are tough and almost took on Megaman, so I wouldn’t count them out. Either way, they can distract Godzilla, while Metalman takes him out with the Metal Punch. Godzilla is just too slow to stop him and would eventually fall to the punishing blows
Of course he is, he’s megaman B-). and actually rodan is very maneuverable, so that not true and he may be under mach 5 but so is metalman, so speed wont be an issue. thunder is not always relevent, especially since metalman cant use it and metal missle will not do anything since he takes missiles multiple times bigger than those and doesn’t even notice them. metal punch would do nothing here, and since his greatest feat is not killing savageman, he will lose, pretty bad actually.
Rodan is very big so while he is maneuverable for his size, he really can’t dodge attacks that come at him. Thanks to his Kaiju physique, dodging just about any attack is a little bit out of his skill set. Metalman is a lot quicker than Rodan because he is able to dodge attacks and he’s so small. Metalman can’t use thunder blasts, which is a problem, but his Metal Fist makes up for that. The Metal Punch can block Godzilla’s Atomic Ray and a couple of good shots will end the match. Godzilla is pretty durable against Government missiles and weapons, but he can’t stand up to Metalman’s attacks. Godzilla has no way of hitting him, so he may lose without scoring a hit

Rodan cannot dodge well, along with all of the other Kaiju. The problem is that when you’re big, it does take away from your ability to dodge and your natural speed. It’s just one of those sad facts of nature. His Metal Fist is more than enough to stop Godzilla

I’m very aware of savageman’s speed (I’ve played all the megaman battle network game except 1&2 and seen all the anime and manga), but it’s not a factor here, as we’re talking about metalman. Metalman got blitzed by savageman and only got that shot because his attention was busy on mega, so he’s not fast and savageman isn’t durable enough to say that since he punched him it’d work. My arguement wasn’t about speed, it was durability. Atomic breath destroyed a black hole, he’s not tanking that, at work though, tty at nine, or tomorrow ;-).

Bull, megagurius dodged most of godzilla’s attcks and was so fast and nimble she became a blur, that’s how fast kaiju are. Megaman was weak then and had gotten hurt by attacks much weaker than that (ex viruses) so that’s an assumption. You don’t have a solid feat, and that’s too bad, because godzilla has plenty, metalman doesn’t have the strength to destroy a building, much less a planet. Dodging Godzilla’s attacks is hardly a speed feat….Megaman has never been weak and viruses do have some pretty tough attacks. Metalman is immensely powerful and he did take on Savageman and Megaman. And yes megaman needed others to unlock his potential (full syncro and perfect syncro for example) so he did need lan and viruses such as heatshot are weak, and they can still hurt early megaman. and savageman higher than godzilla :-O… that’s just scary(get it, halloween :-P), anyone who nows godzilla would agree (ive watched most of them, rodan and mega included). why do you think savage can take godzilla?

Savageman has some nice durability, but it’s no where near godzillas, as he has never taken such an attack. Metal fist won’t even pierce his hide, so it’s a non factor and godzilla has tagged faster.

Prove savageman has godzilla durability, and no he can withstand lightning, but too much will hurt him, try godzilla vs biollante. There is a diff between elec and lightning, godzilla is immuned to the former, kong the latter.
Savageman was able to survive attacks from Megaman and didn’t even die when Megaman ripped off his claws. Savageman has a ton of durability. The lightning actually powers up Godzilla. Also, no such thing as immune…he’s just highly resistant

Only the most advanced program advances (for example when bass summons nebula gray who formed into bass who made an evil spirit bomb type thing) used by the most powerful forms of certain navis even hope to destroy the earth (why do you think duo destroying a planet was such an amazing feat, one that puts him as the most powerful of all navis). Proof of anything other than that would be greatly appreciated. Also metal fist could not dent Godzilla’s durability, who has actually tanked attacks that would dwarf program advances such as heat shot. that is why Godzilla wins.
No worries. The manga is much higher tier than the anime or the games and Duo didn’t even appear. In the mangas, they are just massively OP and just cannot be stopped. That being said, it would definitely injure Godzilla. (The army does it all the time!)
