Ironman is essentially the leader of the Avengers at this point and Star Lord commands the Guardians in the films. Both of these guys are natural born leaders, but Ironman’s tech is far superior to Star Lord’s. Star Lord has a cool gun, but repulsor blasts will always be the better choice and Ironman’s suits give him more mobility. Star Lord is outgunned in this round. Ironman wins.

Whoa! Iron Man himself admitted his tech was a couple generations behind the rest of the Galaxy. So before you say Star Lord is outgunned, read some Iron Man comics!
That’s true, but it doesn’t really make sense since Star Lord’s tech has never looked quite that good. Technically, Iron Man’s armor should be worse, but it’s offensive capabilities are stronger than anything at the Guardian’s disposal. (Maybe not in raw power, but speed gives him the edge)

In theory it should be, but it doesn’t have any feats that are even close to Iron Man’s. It’s an interesting hole in the Marvel logic since they do explain that Star Lord’s tech is superior…it’s just how it goes I suppose. It could just be that Iron Man’s is more prepped for combat while Star Lord is typically an explorer.
