Thor is back, but now he’s fighting a true speedster! Thor’s speed is impressive and far greater than most suspect, but I don’t believe that it will be enough to defeat Greninja. Greninja can handle Thor’s mobility and his array of offensive attacks will keep Thor at bay. In a long range battle, Greninja has the edge and he can hold out when in close range thanks to his athletic ability. Thor’s streak of wins will have to stop here. Greninja wins.

Does Thor’s lightning effect Greninja’s weakness to electric types?
It should definitely count. Greninja will have to do his best to stay away from Thor’s lightning attacks as they would surely deal massive amounts of damage, but I think that his speed should be a good counter to that.
IDK, while Greninja is fast Thor is probably durable enough to take minimal damage before striking him with Mjolnir. The tricky part to this battle is we have definitive stats for Greninja but none for Thor. And with a base Def of 67 and a base Sp.Def of 71, one hit should do it on Thor’s part. But again, Thor doesn’t have clear defined stats and as such its trickier to figure out. And even if we assume that Greninja’s Protean ability saves him from his weakness, his defense is probably not high enough to defend against Thor.
Thor is definitely very durable, which is true. Greninja certainly couldn’t beat Thor quickly while Thor only needs a few hits to take him down. A strong case can definitely be made for Thor’s victory. Still, I have a hard time seeing Thor keep up with Greninja’s speed and Shadow techniques. Thanks to Greninja’s array of attacks, he can afford a drawn out battle as he keeps his distance.
Yeah sorry. Greninja is strong and all, but I think I’m voting for Thor on this one. Greninja’s fast, but one hit from Thor should do it.
Fair enough 🙂 So far, the majority is pulling for Thor and I can certainly see why. He is still one of Marvel’s heavy hitters and a force to be reckoned with.

Yes, but it is a task that Greninja can accomplish. I believe that he will be able to evade Thor’s punishing thunder attacks long enough to secure his victory.
