Mata Nui is a very powerful being who has some gravity abilities and energy blasts in addition to his great physical power. Unicron can say the same for the most part as he is certainly not lacking in the strength department either. He has always been a supreme threat in the Transformers franchise and I don’t see Mata Nui being able to slow this guy down for very long. Unicron is practically a force of nature in how powerful he is and he can win this fight whether it is a long range contest or a battle of brawn. Unicron wins.

Mata nui also has billions of superpowers agents at his disposal, and with some with teleportation abilities can mount mass strike missions to unicorns surface, the bohrak hoards alone could “clean” him.
Tbh I never got into transformers so please give some context on unicorns abilities.

Sure, Unicron is basically your classic tough guy. He’s really huge and has a considerable amount of overwhelming power. What makes him dangerous are his energy blasts and sheer size. It would be tough for Mata Nui to really endure this guy’s hits which is what makes the fight tough on him.
Mata Nui was fighting Teridax in a smaller,weaker and more unstable version of the robot from the picture which was his original form and it took a hit from a colliding planet to finally destroy his old body. To picture the strength of the giant robots, both were made to reunite a divided planet by attracting them so they could merge again and Makuta Teridax at some point was about to “fold the planet in on itself” with his gravity powers,
I don’t know much about Unicron either but if we go with the prototype giant robot Mata Nui used in the final battle he holds on a bit but loses fair and square unless there is some turning point that allows him to turn the tide. If he uses his old body he might be at worse equally matched.
I do think it could make for a pretty close fight for sure. Mata Nui is definitely a strong fighter and with all of those powers at his disposal it’ll be hard to stop him.
