Suggested by JHG195 Nausicaä appears to be a reasonable fighter who may not like combat but excels at it when necessary. What will hold her back here is a lack of supernatural abilities to contend with Rey’s Force mastery. Perhaps she could hold her own in hand to hand combat, but Rey’s lightsaber would slice through anything at Nausicaä’s disposal. Rey has the better equipment and the better powers to getting through all of that will be nearly impossible. Rey wins.

You forgot that Nausicaä can unscrew the pommel and end her rightly. It won’t be as easy as you think and I may be biased as I like Nausicaä a lot more but she’s made of tough stuff.
True, she is definitely a tough character so I’m sure Nausicaa will fight tooth and nail all the way to the end. She isn’t one to give up easily

I personally find Nausicaä to be the better character. Rey’s just Disney’s new creator’s pet and has a highly implausibly humble background for a supposed master jedi! I’m both excited and worried for Episode IX!
Ah, yeah I wasn’t aware of the meme. Definitely an interesting tactic, but maybe it could have some form of effectiveness. Sounds fun to use at least. I wouldn’t be surprised if I liked Nausicaa more than Rey as well, but for the most part I’ve been a big fan of the new Star Wars protagonist. I’m glad that she is always up for a fight thus far and doesn’t stay on the sidelines
Actually, scratch that; I’ve long lost interest in Episode IX or anything from Disney’s Star Wars.
Ah, maybe it’ll end up having a good trailer or something. I just hope we get more Lightsaber duels
