Suggested by Sonic Wario is a pretty tough guy who definitely doesn’t mess around. He has his Wario Man form and has gone toe to toe against Mario in the past. That being said, I really feel like Ryu has the edge here. Not only is he a lot stronger than Mario, but he’s also got better martial art skills and has superior speed feats of his own. Wario will have a very hard time trying to keep up with this Street Fighter! Ryu wins.

Ehhh, if I had to say so this wouldn’t be an easy fight for either side. Ryu undoubtedly has superior speed and H2H feats, but Wario’s durability has him cartoonishly shrugging off being burnt, frozen, electrocuted, burficated, crushed to the point of being a pancake, turned into a zombie, turned into a vampire, the list goes on and on.
Wario is also shown in his games manhandling enemies and bosses FAR larger than he is, which suggests an almost unreal level of brute raw power relative to his rather diminutive stature. Even going back to H2H stuff, Wario might be inferior in strikes/kicks etc, but he’s shown some surprisingly good wrestling techniques, such as his spike piledriver from Wario World.
Ryu might be the superior fighter, but Wario is too much of a freak for it to matter imho. I give the win to Wario.
