Mario has had many power ups over the years. He’s taken on enemies like Bowser and Gooper Blooper and lived to tell the tale, but in the end Link’s just too powerful for Mario. With his sword he’s a quick and powerful fighter. Link wins.

      • Why wouldn’t he be able to block his punches? Mario is pathetic. If he tries to punch, Link would just sidestep and cut his hand off. If Mario tries to shoot fire, Link just uses his mirror shield to reflect it back at him. You say Link can’t handle the heat, when he’s handled fire-based dungeons in pretty much every LoZ game to date. You say that Yey Science needs to get with the game, when you know nothing about it yourself. Long story short, Link wins, Mario sucks, and your and teribble Zelda fan.

      • I probably know more about Mario and Link than even you. I’ve even watched all cutscenes for not 2 but 3 Link CDi games. Many people don’t even know that there is a third. Also Link could try to dodge Mario’s punches, but he wouldn’t be able to. He’s not as athletic as Mario and never will be. He relies on his sword too much. It’s a liability. Also Mario has all of his forms. In Fireball mode there’d be even more fire. Link has handle fire caves true, but never has he fought someone at Mario’s level. Link is a good fighter, but Mario pwns. So Better Luck Next Time

    • Yeah, Link definitely wins this match. A long time ago I thought Mario was tougher, but after playing Ocarina of Time again on the 3DS, I realized that Link’s kind of out of Mario’s league, with all of his sword skills and magic skills. Glad you go for Link.

  5. link is strong but i think mario outclasses him in speed because in mario galaxy he can travel to different galaxies in seconds so he will speed blitz link
