Well Gallade just doesn’t have the skills to defeat Blaziken. Blaziken is just too powerful to lose to Gallade. Blaziken beats a lot of fighters and Gallade will be just another one of those to fall. Gallade just wasn’t tough enough to win. Blaziken wins a lot. Blaziken wins.

Wrong. Gallade is psychic type and his highest stat is attack. Lamezikens defence is better but not by much. One psycho cut would be all it takes. I see alot of lameziken in online battles and my Gallade has never lost to any of them. Psycho cut, Earthquake, Aerial ace and Swords dance. Perfect Lameziken foil.
I like Gallade as much as the next fella. He’s pretty powerful, but Blaziken has the slight speed and power advantage. Blaziken also has his burning boost that he gets once he’s weakened. Why not request a fight for Gallade? It could help him in the rankings 🙂
Gameplay wise, Blaziken is at somewhat of a disadvantage. Gallade can learn many moves that’ll tear right through most Fighting types, including Aerial Ace. I’ve never really known Blaziken to be a good defender, both physically and in terms of Special defense. Although I’ve played with Blaziken a few times online, I switched him out for Lucario and Gallade, he also has a lot of weaknesses that can get him picked off by any pro player.
Yeah, Blaziken isn’t the best gameplay wise. That being said, in a true fight, Blaziken would take almost any Pokemon down. His speed and attack power are very impressive and that’s why I don’t believe that Gallade’s attacks will be able to hit him. Sure, some of them will definitely hit him eventually, but Blaziken’s speed will definitely nullify some of those
I’ll look at this from a non-game perspective. Blaziken is faster, but Gallade is the better fighter strategically. Blaziken was shown beating Charizard (I don’t consider the anime with Ash canon at all.), Gallade was never given an oppurtunity to truly showcase his prowess and/or skill. Blaziken is more powerful, but Gallade has more attack options, and he is shown to be more precise as a fighter like Lucario. He has those elbow blades, we look at them and we can guess those do more than poking another Pokemon’s eye out. Gallade has more variable techniques. Plus he can read minds like Lucario. He’s a better strategist than Blaziken. He needs to tire him out and sweep in for Blaziken’s defeat. Blaziken is a good fighter and he is fast, but you all know the phrase “You’ve gotta think fast to be fast.” I hate to seem bias, but it’s hard to match yourself up against another Pokemon that may have attacks that can lay you down faster than flipping pancakes. This fight is like The Flash VS Batman. It’ll seem evenly matched, but one specially designed gadget used from Batman to weaken The Flash and it’s all over. A Psycho Cut is all that’s really needed to take Blaziken down, assuming he doesn’t avoid it. This is clearly a true mismatch.
Gallade wins.
The thing is, I would consider Blaziken to be much faster than Gallade. I’m not sure about Gallade being the more strategic fighter. He can read minds, but it doesn’t necessarily help him with battle decisions. Gallade definitely hasn’t gotten to fight that much in the anime which hasn’t helped his case, while Blaziken’s gotten a lot of action. His defensive abilities have also proven to be formidable, so I just don’t think that Gallade will be able to stop him. When the opponent has the edge in attack, defense, and speed…there’s usually no getting around that.
That being said, The Flash should beat Batman 100 out of 100 matches. He can move faster than light so Batman should never be able to have time to use a gadget unless plot hax are in order
Yeah, I think Gallade could win if he uses his mind reading techniques he has in common with Gardevoir, another Pokemon than could tear Blaziken down. You have to think fast to be fast man. Physical speed doesn’t cut it most of the time. Flash gets beat by people who are smarter than him, I.E. Batman and Deathstroke, Deathstroke once impaled Wally West on his sword, but Gallade isn’t bloodlusted so I doubt that would happen to Blaziken. The comments about the anime (which is not canon by the way) Blaziken beating Charizard was just a plot device. Charizard never lost that badly before. So if Lucario and Gardevoir can outsmart Blaziken, you can be perfectly sure Gallade can too.
Blaziken can think very quickly and he’s always ready for a fight. Lucario and Gardevoir can’t outsmart Blaziken and I wouldn’t say that Gallade could either. Mind abilities are powerful, but Blaziken is still superior in all of his physical stats and that will be enough for him to win the round. Sceptile gave it his all against Blaziken, but Blaziken’s defense was just too much. I wouldn’t call Charizard’s loss plot hax since he was just out of his league. Blaziken is just too powerful!
Deathstroke beating Wally was just really bad writing and Batman should never be able to defeat him.
