  1. What.

    WHAT.

They fought in the comic books during the Civil War, you inane person. Thor won by a landslide. That would you dare to insinuate Iron Man (with a space, you moron) wins by virtue of being in an anime (I don’t believe I’ve heard a worse reason for justifying a victory yet) shows a blatant lack of knowledge of the characters, gauging relative in-universe power, and common sense. Thor wins, you lose.

    • I guess I’m going to have to use my ultimate argument clincher. Bass pwns

But if that didn’t work, in the Ironman anime Ironman could pwn anyone….Within Reason If Thor gets an anime or appears in one things could be different. I mean come on, Ironman has a unibeam.

      • That only clinches the argument of your intelligence. Congrats, my ten-year-old sister is now better at arguing than you.

Not only does being in an anime not constitute an automatic power-up, Iron Man is a teenager in the anime. That’s a fairly significant downgrade. Thor is unchanged and wins by virtue of experience.

Also, you’re ignoring that they fought in the comics. Thor won. Get your facts straight and quit slanting things through your fanboy glasses.

      • Thor won, but Ironman wasn’t in anime mode. In that form he could just dodge all of Thor’s hits and eventually take him out

      • Are you even aware of how bad you sound? Anime Iron Man is irrelevant.

      • Welp. My job here is done. You are spectacularly good at making yourself look like the idiot you are. “Anime is always relevant!” has to be the worst excuse I have ever seen. No, it’s not relevant, they’re both comic book characters, they both originated in the Marvel universe first (sorta; Thor is in Norse mythology so if we go there, Thor wins by default), they both already fought in-universe, and Thor won. You can’t argue that. Thor won. You even admitted it yourself.

Honestly I’d just stop if you would be reasonable.

      • Ironman(I don’t like adding a space) started out as a marvel character, but that’s what marvel anime is for. To make the characters get tougher, just like Live Action is here to tone the characters down. So Ironman wins, plus in Marvel Capcom 3 he heavily implied he was making a Galactus Buster Armor and when that’s finished another power up.

      • Have we SEEN thsi armor in action?

        No?

        Then quiet
Also, Anime Iron man still needs experience. Something Thor has more than enough of. And anime doesn’t mean too much. Anime Iron Man doesn’t have the Galactus Buster Armor. In fact, he’d probabaly be killed by Galactcus.

Also, here’s the quote from TVtropes on the ‘fight.

‘Thor’s “fight” with Iron Man post-Civil War. Elapsed storytelling space: four pages. Elapsed time: Þ1m15s. ‘

Maybe anime IS an improvement! Maybe he’ll last for THREE minutes and 15 seconds!

      • The thing is he doesn’t need experience in anime form. He just goes and pwns whoever is in his way. Thor is tough, but Ironman is too fast in anime mode.

      • Anime doesn’t mean invincible. And I actually saw an episode of the new anime version once, I believe. I didn’t see Iron Man going faster than Light Speed.

Also, I’m still waiting for your argument of ‘Bass Pwns’ to hold water. And… yeah, there’s not even a bucket. No, wait, there’s a scrap of wood! there’s a scrap of wood there trying to hold up an ocean! That’s how pathetic that argument is.

And Anime isn’t always relevant. Pick a side. Are you going with the Iron Man from the comics, Iron Man from the Anime? Or Iron Man from MvC 3? And Thor isn’t ‘Tough’. Anime Iron Man vs. Thor would be, as Yahtzee would put it, like pitting a wheelchair-bound, cross-eyed hobbit against Master Chief with the BFG 9000. No contest.

You are still ignoring a HUGE gulf of difference. In fact, Guts from Berserk would probably be a better matchup to Anime Iron Man. Or… even, Samus Aran.

      • Of course Samus pwns Ironman, but that’s a different story. Guts, has no shot, unless he’s stronger than I think. Also in the blog it counts everything. So it also counts Super Hero Squad form. As for Bass pwns…..He pwns….Nuff Said. Thor does win a lot of fights, Just Ryoma and Ironman are too powerful.

      • Bass sure gets PWNed by Megaman.EXE a lot.

Have you even SEEN Berserk? The guy weilds a sword with it’s own zip code. No poers but he doesn’t need them. He fights demons on a regular basis.

Also, ‘counting everything’ is a surefire way to make contradictions. One characterization must take presedence over the other. And there’s still the fact that Comic Book Iron man, who had much more time than Anime Iron Man, had more time and experience to develop his armor… and still got royally trounced. Unless you cover that point properly, that argument still stands.

      • He may be good, but not at Bass level. And fine he can probably beat Ironman, but I still think Ironman trumps Thor. Anime Ironman pwns comic Ironman for one good reason. Better Armor!

      • Maybe by about a year. Technology gets outdated fast, remember. And Guts is past ‘Bass level’.

Still not seeing how anime is relevant here. AT best, he’ll last just as long as his comic book counterpart, if not a bit longer.

      • There’s no such thing as being above Bass level. Bass is the ultimate navi. Also Ironman is too powerful for Thor. Thor can throw his hammer, but Ironman can dodge and knock him out. Comic Ironman couldn’t. He’s not fast enough.

      • And still gets beaten by Megaman.EXE every thursday. And got tricked by an old man into absorbing something to lower his power level. So much for ‘ultimate’.

Do you even have proof that the Anime version could hit Thor? Or even hurt him?

      • Heh, you know how the animators and developers get. They just wanted characters like SUperman to be able to live without dieing under Bass’s shadow. I mean why else turn his name from Forte into Bass.

Also Anime Ironman has anime powers that he can use to pwn. That’s my proof.

      • Forte’s his original name. His Japanese Name. Where he came from. It was changed to Bass to match the original musical theme. You know, Rockman, Roll, Treble, Beat… See it now? I believe thats’ a good reason.

And these anime powers are…? Go on, indulge me. What powers does Iron Man gain by being in an anime?

      • First it makes sense, but I don’t like when America changes the name to something worse. It just doesn’t make sense.

Also for Ironman’s anime powers. First of all he’s over 100 times faster. Second when he was knocked into an ainme building he didn’t blow up. It was all thanks to his new armor. Also now his beams do more damage and he can fight hand to hand. Plus his armor comes together faster, and he’s scarier to the bad guys. Because his eyes glow menacingly

    • The post-Civil War example you keep referring to is not normal ol’ Thor, it’s Thor with the Odinforce. The same Odinforce that allowed Odin to one-shot galaxies. The fact that Iron Man’s armor was able to tank a full on blast is an achievement by itself.

  2. Fun Fact: There is no Iron Man anime. All Iron Man animations have been made in America (with the recent CGI one being made in Canada)

Your logic not only sucks normally; its false.

    • But that’s where your wrong. Thor may be a tough fighter, but he’s not at Ironman level. Ironman has an anime machine that moves so fast no one can stop him
