Luigi has the massive speed advantage. With his mushrooms, plus he also has his car. With his lightning powers he could drain away at Godzilla’s health
No he has no speed advantage, he’s even slower than a regular man if we look at his performance in games. Mushrooms won’t do him anything good and his car is only for escaping.
Lightning won’t do anything to Godzilla. In Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (the 1974 movie) he allowed himself to be struck by it so he can become magnetized to defeated Mechagodzilla. In Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, he was struck by lightning on the dorsal fins before the title appeared and acted normally. Lightning can’t hurt Godzilla, it’s proven; if anything, it makes him stronger.
You’re forgetting about the Power Stars and mushrooms. With them he goes a lot faster. His car is also plenty fast and mized with a star it’s hard to hurt him. With his size mushrooms he can get really big and he can throw Bob Ombs at Godzilla.
Well Luigi also has his hammer and fire abilities. Plus in SSBB he has been shown to make a world that slows the opponent down and makes them fall asleep. Luigi just has too many items up his sleeve to lose. Imagine a fast, “invincible”, big strong, metal Luigi! It would be insane!!
No it wouldn’t be ‘insane’, it would be boring and that invincibility idea is just temporary.
At his largest, Luigi barely comes to the top of Godzilla’s toe. Bob Ombs are like normal bombs with bigger explosions, nothing Godzilla will feel.
Hammer does nothing, fire does nothing and that world idea is 15 seconds tops so it’s useless. Metal Luigi is also slow and would be crushed by Godzilla.
Godzilla losing to Luigi would be an insult to all Godzilla fans everywhere.
Even if he’s not as big as Godzilla, he’s still big enough to do some serious damage! Godzilla is powerufl, but you are underestimating Luigi a lot here! He’s a pretty strong fighter and a Giant, Star, Metal, Punch would do a lot of damage!

Luigi at the most is perhaps 10m high (and that’s being very generous). Luigi’s size is like a baby compared to an adult. Godzilla would simply stomp on Luigi. If Luigi is in his Metal state, his speed take a massive drop, making it easier for Godzilla to hit him as well.
If he’s using a Star, he’s invincible for a short period of time; a time Godzilla can simply wait to finish and then stomp Luigi.
I’m not underestimating Luigi, you are just underestimating Godzilla by a long shot.

Size is just a disadvantage for Godzilla. Luigi could speedblitz him all day. If he mixes the metal with his mushrooms and star he’ll still be fast enough to dodge Godzilla. Luigi can just spam his attacks all day. Don’t forget his hammer!
I’m not underestimating Godzilla. I acknoledge that he’s one of the strongest Japanese Live Action Kaiju out there! Yeah, Godzilla’s winning by a longshot. Of course I care what the voters think. That’s why I closely examined this match, but I still don’t see how Godzilla wins

Space Godzilla is a form, and he is 10x tougher then Godzilla and taller. he may not be able to temporarily hurt Luigi, but he will run out of Stars and Destroy hhim with ease
