Mewtwo is one of the strongest pokemon in existence! With the flick of his hand he can cause awesome destruction! Superman is strong, but we’ve seen how he deals with energy blasts. Mewtwo’s got this match in the bag. Superman’s just not strong enough to overcome his psychic abilities. Mewtwo wins.

He could Shadow Ball spam while speedblitzing Superman. Not to mention his aura!
Or Ice Beam, Charge Beam, Energy Ball, Psystrike, Hyper Beam or any other of his mass of available beam and projectile attacks. Even if Superman got close, he could fend him off with his actually pretty commendable melée skill and strength, at least long enough to teleport to a safe distance
Definitely! I still think Mewtwo is in the top 2 strongest pokemon ever! He’s extremely powerful and just has so many attacks. Superman’s powerful in his own right, but he has a lot less attacks to use against Mewtwo. Plus Mewtwo also knows Recover

True, but Rayquaza is easily more durable. Except when faced with Defence Deoxys, but in that case Deoxys loses the speed advantage
And what about Arceus’ Dark Form? Immune to Psychic powers, so it would give Deoxys problems even if Mewtwo could switch to using… any of his non-psychic attacks
True, Rayquaza can definitely take some damage, but I’m not sure he can hurt Deoxys. In the manga Deoxys is able to keep switching forms instantly at super speed. So when he’s about to be hurt he’ll switch to defense mode, use his speed to get close, and turn into attack mode just in time to land a hit. In Pokemon Adventures he’s beast! Aside from Mewtwo, none of the other pokemon could even comprehend his speed really.
Well, Deoxys is also good with just regular attacks. He can attack at super speeds and stab with his arms. Arceus is definitely powerful, I just think that he lacks speed
Arceus is actually incredibly fast. Faster than Mewtwo, for example
He is extremely fast, but thanks to the manga, I’m not sure if he’s as fast. In the manga Mewtwo and Deoxys seem to be the fastest pokemon. Mewtwo was able to comprehend his speed and fight back. Here’s the scene where they fight, but I recommend reading the whole series. It’s extremely fun and finally shows more of the pokemon’s powers. Some of them actually get made up super forms 😀
