Sauron (LOTR) vs Bass

Sauron (LOTR) is back, but now he’s up against Bass! Beating Bass is basically impossible so I think it’s safe to say that Sauron (LOTR) is basically doomed. Bass can defeat any being in all of media and that’s because he’s unbeatable. Maybe Sauron (LOTR) will be back someday. Bass wins.

  1. Too bad, Sauron can survive in his non-physical form and whilst Bass is attempting to hurt his non-physical form with multiple Fail Overloads and punches, Sauron will be like “You’re just attempting to punch thin air” before disintegrating him like he did to Gandalf’s staff with only a fraction of his power.

    • *Darkness Overloads* and they never fail. It would still hurt him and Sauron can’t disintegrate someone like Bass. Bass is too fast to be tagged and his Get Ability will ensure that he always stays one step ahead of Sauron.

      • No, it would go through Sauron. As I said with the fight against Melkor, attempting to hit Sauron in his non-physical form is like attempting to cut air which is impossible unless you have a spiritual based attack which Fail Overload definitely is not as it only hurts the physical body and NOT the soul.

      • Bass never had to fight a spiritual being, but energy just works that way. It transcends everything, which is why those attacks all work.

      • Is it bound by time and space? Yes. Then it transcends NOTHING. Refer back to Melkor vs Bass thread in which I gave examples when energy did nothing to spirits.

      • Good points, but I still don’t see how it wouldn’t affect Sauron. Even if it didn’t Sauron will need to be physical to really attack Bass and stalemates just result in Bass winning since his speed allows him to keep the upper hand before eventually landing the critical blow.

      • Sauron was destroying things in his non-physical form in the Hobbit movies so there. Bass loses due to being a kid’s video game character with weak powers.

      • We’re bringing up the Hobbit films? Game Set and Match sir! The lady defeated him with her voice as she scared him back to the realm. An energy blast would positively hit him in that form. All arguments are now null and void thanks to the Hobbit films. You never want to bring those up since everyone looks extremely weak in all of the films. Gandalf is taken out by random ogres and Sauron lost to a stab. We can’t take the films seriously anymore.

      • Read the books for the true interpretations. Lady Galadriel never truly banished Sauron. Sauron only FAKED his defeat and travelled back to Mordor for his fortress had just finished construction there. Also she used divine light of a Maia against him since she was taught magic by a being of the same species as Gandalf and Sauron. First Age elves also had the light of the Two trees within them so they were still powerful with divine magic whilst second age and third age elves no longer had that ability. Galadriel in the Silmarillion was a first age elf. Besides like I said earlier Sauron faked it in the book and went back to Mordor to see his full fortress. Fail set and nothing boy. Also Sauron lost to a stab in the Hobbit? What drugs are you smoking? The only instance a sword was used against him was in the sequel LOTR series and not the Hobbit.

      • He may have faked his defeat for planning purposes, but it doesn’t change the fact that he was crushed in that moment. The divine light was too much for him and Bass’ Darkness Overload would have a similar, if not more potent effect. This is why I say that energy blasts can hit any being in any form. They simply transcend just about everything. I meant the scene in the LOTR, but it does not matter where it was shown since it still happened. Sauron was crushed by a mere mortal and there’s nothing mere about Bass! Now, this is the 9th inning and I just scored another grand slam. “Complete!”

      • Bass is more of a mortal than Galadriel ever was and he too would get crushed by her. Also Sauron was not crushed in that moment. Galadriel was VERY weakened after SUPPOSEDLY fending him off which gives you the hint that Sauron is powerful even when he’s not trying. Darkness Overload has nothing on divine or spiritual level so Bass loses.

      • Bass is no mere mortal. Sauron was still defeated regardless of the plan and Darkness Overload would take him out just as easily. His beam may not have the holy attribute, but it has the powers of darkness behind it. Why do you think it wouldn’t affect good ole Sauron? Being intangible is definitely not effective against all attacks.

      • Soz for double post but elves are immortal. When they die, their souls do act the same way as the souls of mankind or dwarvenkind do. They sorta reincarnate because they have the power to do so.

      • I mean *do not* act the same way. Basically mankind go to the afterlife unlike elves who can choose to do so if they want. In the past, the dwarves became stone when they died but Eru changed that afterwards. Admit it, Sauron is much more terrifying and powerful than Bass. Sauron’s casual strength level in the first age was measured at kilotons…meaning that he punches down mountains for breakfast.

      • That sounds pretty impressive, but Sauron’s speed still isn’t up to snuff. I can’t admit it just yet since Bass still terrifies me whenever I see him on screen. How does he not scare you? He’s like the living embodiment of horror and shock…how could you not find him completely scary? Sauron is intimidating as well, but to a lesser extent.

      • On one hand we have a little cyborg kid and then on the other hand we have a silent, foreboding figure clad in spiked black armour who has a metaphorical eye that would even cower Satan. Bass is not scary, he’s cuddly.
