Doc Brown vs The Doctor

Doc Brown is pretty smart, but he’s not quite as smart as The Doctor. The Doctor has been through many adventures and his wit is always enough to get him out alive. Doc Brown made his own time travelling device, but not even that is enough to match feats with The Doctor and his Tardis. The Doctor wins.

  1. Dang, you got this match up quick! There is an epic rap battle of history on YouTube about these two guys so that why I suggested it. And on a lot of my social media apps the doctor is getting pretty popular.

    • What can I say, you had pretty good timing since it fit the schedule perfectly. I’ve heard of the rap battle, but I’ve never seen it. The Doctor is definitely really popular and especially with the new TV show

      • He has a lot of inventions and I think he has some slight strength. I don’t believe he has many powers at his disposal though

      • As a major Doctor Who fan I can answer this one

As an alien Time Lord, the Doctor is slightly more durable than a human (he survived electric shocks and poison that were enough to kill humans), and he has slight psychic capablilities (reading minds with direct contact, and even transferring memories and thoughts quickly with a “psychic headbutt”) although he rarely uses them, but the main, most notable special ability Time Lords have shown is Regeneration, wherein a Time Lord takes on a new appearance and (to some extent) personality on death and comes back fully healed. There is a limit (usually 12 times) to how many regenerations a Time Lord can have, but both the Doctor and the Master have proven it is possible to gain additional regenerations.Time Lords also have two hearts and are very long-living, the Doctor being over 1200 years old.

The Doctor most often relies on his intelligence and gadgets though. The Sonic Screwdriver has been shown to interact with just about any machinery that isn’t Deadlock Sealed, I could bring up a list of things it’s been shown to do, but it would be incredibly and it would almost be quicker to just list the things it’s been stated not to do. The Tardis, his living, “bigger on the inside” time machine also provides him with a background field translating other languages and allowing phone contact to other timezones.

      • Lol, guess I completely missed that one as I said mild super strength instead of durability. Doc Brown definitely doesn’t have a chance against The Doctor. Since he’s lived so long and the fact that his inventions are superior, I would say that the Doctor is much smarter than Doc Brown and he’s also physically superior. Give him the Sonic Screwdriver and that’s it for Doc Brown’s time travel machine.

The Doctor Who show is so long that I don’t see myself starting it anytime soon so I’m trying to read as many of the comics as I can. I read the trade paperback with the Englishman Doctor and that one was pretty good. Then, I read an onmibuss with the Doctor who liked jelly beans a lot.

      • Not sure which doctor the first one is (they’re all British (ok, technically Gallifreyan but they are at least identified by humans as British). And you’ve also read a Fourth Doctor omnibus I see.

      • I went through the incarnations and I’m fairly certain that the first one I was referring to is the 5th one. Whoops, I forgot that the others were British. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
