Wolverine vs Quickman

Wolverine is tough and he has the Phoenix Force so this is an obvious win for him right? Well, if you think that…then I encourage you to rethink the current situation. Quickman is legendary in terms of speed and there is no way that Wolverine will be able to keep up with him. Quickman can definitely take Wolverine out with a few hits and that will not be tough for him thanks to his speed advantage. Wolverine’s healing factor just won’t help him this time. Quickman wins.

Wolverine is a mutant who has been given an unbreakable skeleton from Weapon X Program and augmented by Apocalypse.

Logan uses his animal-keen senses to track his target
    Added by ChaosTheory07
Superhumanly Acute Senses: Wolverine possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. He can see at far greater distances, with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of clarity even in near total darkness. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing him to detect sounds ordinary humans couldn’t hear at a greater distances, enough to hear a teardrop in another room that have thick walls with enough focus. He is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if they are well hidden. He can track a target by scent, even if the scent has been greatly eroded by time and weather factors, with an extraordinary degree of success. Wolverine can also use his keen sense of smell to detect lies due to chemical changes within a person’s scent. These senses stem from, at least partially, his constant cellular regeneration, as are his enhanced physical capabilities.
Superhuman Strength: Wolverine’s mutant healing factor enables him to push his muscles beyond the natural limits of the human body without injury, granting him some degree of superhuman strength. His natural strength is augmented by the demand placed on his musculature due to the presence of over 50kg/100 pounds of Adamantium bonded to his skeleton, which also removes the natural limitations of the human skeletal structure by allowing him to lift weights that would damage a human skeleton. Wolverine has been depicted with sufficient strength to break steel chains[32] [33], support the weight of a dozen men with one arm[34] and lift the 450kg/955 lb Ursa Major over his head before tossing him across a room.[35] Wolverine’s strength is enough to allow him to press somewhere in excess of 360kg/800 lbs but no more than 2 tons.
Superhuman Stamina: Wolverine’s mutant healing factor grants him high immunity against lactic acid and other fatigue toxins generated by his muscles during physical activity. Wolverine can sustain himself at peak capacity for several days. Wolverine has shown himself capable of fighting Arkady Rossovich (Omega Red) for over 24 hours, despite regular exposure to Omega Red’s death spores.[36]. His lung capacity is at peak human level enabling him to hold breath for 6 minutes under water, making his lungs as healthy as human’s lungs can get. And when his lungs stop working,he can maintain his life by cutaneous respiration (It can only maintain his basic life activities).
Superhuman Durability: Wolverine possess superhuman durability. This is mostly because of his healing abilities and Adamantium Skeleton, which redistributes the force of blows dealt against. He has taken blows from Spider-Man on multiple occasions showing less than minimal discomfort, as well from a host of other much stronger characters such as Wonder-Man, Thor, Hulk, Thing, Skaar, Sebastian Shaw, and Kid Gladiator, who also had the advantage of have spiked knuckles. However, even without his Adamantium Skeleton, Wolverine does display a degree of superhuman durability. For example, he was hit by a jeep, and was unharmed. This is partially due to the fact that his skeleton, even without the Adamantium metal, is superhumanly durable.
Superhuman Speed: Wolverine is able to move at low level superhuman speeds. He has attacked faster than the eye could follow and even Spider-Man briefly thought Wolverine was faster than he was in their first fight. His combat speed seems more enhanced then anything else, as he has frequently kept up with Spider-Man in combat, and blitzed people before they pull their trigger fingers.
Superhuman Agility: Wolverine’s agility, balance and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels far beyond the natural physical limits and capabilities of the finest human specimen. Wolverine’s agility is sufficient to allow him to dodge multiple bullets. Other times, able to jump extremely high and evade several yards.
Superhuman Reflexes: Wolverine’s reflexes are similarly enhanced, they are also superior to those possessed by the finest human specimen and are equal to the likes of Steve Rogers’ (Captain America) due to his superhumanly acute senses, although most of the time he relies highly on his regenerative healing factor.
Insulated Weather Adaptation: Wolverine’s body is highly resistant to certain elemental extremes, particularly cold, to the extent that he can sleep nude in subarctic conditions with no apparent injury.
Animal Empathy: Wolverine has the ability to sense the emotional state of animals on a basic level such as fear, anger, happiness or pain. He can even communicate with them to make the animal aware of his actions and or his intent.

    Logan brandishes his claws
    Added by Sasquatch1201
Bone Claws: Wolverine’s skeleton includes six retractable 12-inch long bone claws, three in each arm, that are housed beneath the skin and muscle of his forearms. Wolverine can, at will, release these slightly curved claws through his skin beneath the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but the blood loss is quickly halted by his healing factor. Wolverine can unsheathe any number of his claws at once, although he must keep his wrists straight at the moment his claws pass from his forearms into his hands. When unsheathed, the claws are entirely within his hands, allowing him to bend his wrists when they are extended. The claws are made of bone, unlike the claws of normal mammals which are made of keratin, and were originally believed to be bionic adamantium implants. Like his son Daken, the bone claws are sharp and dense enough to slice through substances as durable as most metals, wood, and stone.
Psionic Resistance: Wolverine reveals that his mind is highly resistant to telepathic probing and assault due to the high level psionic shields implanted in his mind by Professor Charles Xavier[37] and somewhat due to his healing factor[citation needed].

Master Tactician: Though seemingly brutish, Wolverine is highly intelligent. When Forge monitored Wolverine’s vitals during a Danger Room training session, he reported Logan’s physical and mental state as “equivalent to an Olympic-level gymnast performing a Gold-medal-winning routine whilst simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head”,[46] which gives something of an idea of the level of sophistication and tactical processing Logan is capable of utilizing while in combat. He remembers Ogun teaching him Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.
Master Martial Artist: Due to his extensive training as a soldier, a CIA operative, a samurai and a member of the X-Men, Logan is an exceptional martial artist, with expertise in Japanese martial arts, and has mastered 15 forms of martial arts. His extraordinary hand-to-hand combat ability makes him one of the finest combatants on Earth. He was able to keep up with both the Black Panther and the Iron Fist,[47] both expert martial artists. He has also defeated various hand-to-hand experts without using his claws.

Explanation by Forge for being a master tactician.

Expert Marksman: He is an expert marksman skilled in throwing weapons and firearms, but operates more efficiently without them.

Expert Swordsman: Logan is proficient in Japanese sword fighting having studied under Ogun.

Skilled Acrobat: He is skilled in gymnastics, acrobatics and aerials, but is not on the same scale as other fighters such as Captain America and Daredevil.

Advanced Covert Ops Expert: Due to his experience traveling the world and working for various government agencies, Wolverine is also a trained expert in multiple types of weapons, vehicles, computer systems, explosives, and assassination techniques. In the Weapon X comic he said: I can put six shots into a quarter… an’ get change for the gum-machine.

Skilled Mechanic: Along with Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler), Wolverine has also been the mechanic of the X-Men’s Blackbird jet for a long time.

Multi-lingual: A polyglot; Wolverine is fluent in many languages including English, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne, Lakota, and Spanish; he has some knowledge of French, German, Thai, Vietnamese, Farsi and Portuguese. Ogun taught him Japanese ideograms.

With his increased lifespan and journeys across the globe, he has been able to amass an intimate knowledge of many foreign customs and cultures. Once he saw a kabuki play of The 47 Ronin (Genroku Ch?shingura) and remarked how it was one of the finest kabuki troupes he had seen. His exploits have further endowed him with vast awareness of literature and philosophy.
    Strength level
As a result of Wolverine’s constant cellular regeneration and the additional weight and tensile strength of his skeleton he has some degree of superhuman strength enabling him to press somewhere in excess of 800 lbs but not more than 2 tons and he is able to place this strength in his strikes. The latest official handbook entry says that Wolverine is capable of lifting in excess of 800 lbs for brief periods due to his adamantium skeleton.[48]
    Weaknesses
Muramasa Blade: Wolverine’s only specific vulnerability known to date. Created by having his soul infused into the katana, the efficiency of his mutant healing factor is decreased dramatically if he sustains injury from the Muramasa Blade. Wolverine has been wounded once with the blade[49] and, though the injury was very minor, it did not heal completely for 2 days.[50]
Carbonadium Digestion: Wolverine’s healing factor is also affected, though to a far less degree, if he ingests Carbonadium.
Vulnerable Senses: Wolverine’s only other “weakness” is the fact that his heightened senses can be taken advantage of. For instance, when he was fighting the Bruce Banner (Hulk), he was nearly killed by the Hulk’s thunder claps due to his heightened sense of hearing.[51]
Decapitation/Severe Spinal Damage: Professor X once stated that Wolverine could be killed if his head becomes separated from his body, causing his brain the inability to send signals to the section(s) of his body that needs healing. But because of the addition of his adamantium-laced skeleton, the idea seems very unlikely.[52]
Adamantium Poisoning: Adamantium has proven to secrete poison which stunts Wolverine’s healing factor and feral rage by a very small degree. Even though he has it laced throughout his entire body it has not made a significant change in his abilities. However, the poisoning will endanger Wolverine’s life if his healing factor fails on him, such as when an inhibitor field cancels out his mutant powers.
Adamantium Allotropes: Adamantium has thirteen different allotropes (variants) that are very unstable compared to adamantium because of their different molecular configurations and thus physical properties. Some have caused Wolverine to become dizzy or weak just by being in close contact with these adamantium specimens.
Reduced Buoyancy: While not technically a weakness, more a liability. The addition of nearly 100 pounds of Adamantium to his body makes it more difficult to swim.

Uhh… And on top of that he survived 4 atomic bombs, fought with the Hulk, regened from A SINGLE DROP of blood, killed armies, time traveled, went to HELL AND FACED OFF WITH SATAN, YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT SATAN, became the Dark Pheonix, was possessed by a wraith, is the only one on Xmen with only 1 blind spot, and much, much, more. I encourage YOU to rethink the situation here and make Wolverine win.

    • That’s a lot of text! Still, the only thing that really makes Wolverine a threat is his Dark Phoenix abilities and that won’t be enough to negate Quickman’s speed

  2. Yeah, I know a lot about Wolverine so that is why there was a lot of text. Remember, Wolverine was faster than even the legendary Spider Man when they first met. Also, he has extreme super-reflexes too. Also, Quickman is fast, but Turboman is actually faster. Quickman has some weaknesses like Wolverine, but unlike Wolverine, he has easily exposed ones. Like the fact that he boasts a lot and is overly-confident about himself. Wolvrine has dodged bullets before and has speed blitzed even Falcon Man. Even so, this hardly makes him even compete with Quickman in a race… But then again, they aren’t racing, they are fighting!! I believe that Wolverine could use his strength/special ability advantage to win this blog debut. Yes, the Dark Phoenix ability would be a HUGE advantage considering that when Cyclops activated his Dark Pheonix ability’s it took the whole Avengers team, Hope, Emma, the whole Xmen team, about half of S.H.I.E.L.D. and DeadPool to stop him. Wolverine had proven many, many times in th past that he is stronger than Cyclops. Imagine if that thing had Wolverine instead! And I do not agree with that it is the only impressive thing. That Satan feat is pretty impressive. I mean, he fought the Devil! And getting 4 ATOMIC bombs getting dropped on your head? That has got to count for something. Maybe a big durability feat?

    • I never bought the whole Spiderman part, that was mostly plot hax. Quickman is faster than Turboman. Turboman never really got to show us anything because he only appeared in that one game. Wolverine has definitely gotten a lot of feats, but they won’t be enough to cope with Quickman’s speed. Wolverine has a lot of durability feats that make him tough to defeat, but he’ll still go down quickly without his head. Quickman’s blades are sharp enough to finish the job and I just don’t see Wolverine being able to stop him. He can possibly take down the Avengers and FF with the Phoenix Force, but that’s still not at Quickman level. Quickman is far too talented to be defeated

  3. The Superman part wasn’t a plot hax. Wolverine was faster than Parker. Also, you even admitted that Turboman didn’t have that much so you can’t prove that he isn’t faster. Also, he was in Manga once and it said that Quickman envied Turboman, concluding that he’s faster than him. Quickman isn’t strong, just his speed makes him look fast. When it said that severe spine damage could kill him, did you miss the part that it said this was EXETREMELY unlikely because of his Admantium skeleton. Admantium isn’t virtually unbreakable, it IS unbrealable and the only way you can break it is if you either dissolve it with liquid Carbontium or turn it into liquid form and then spread it. With his Phoenix Force he has something very similar to Promethean vision and if he’s not fast enough to snag him with his feral claws, the Phoenix Force will blow him far away and hurt him severely. With his Dark Phoenix abilities, this almost makes him an average planet buster! I mean, he can’t really blow up planets, but he can certainly take them over. Come on! Give some credit to James Howlett(a.k.a. Logan a.k.a. Wolverine)

    • Whoa there, Turboman was not in the NT Warrior manga. Unless you’re talking about something else, but Quickman was not in it either. Adamantium is definitely breakable and I’m sure that Quickman could do it. I actually do think that Wolverine could quickly take out the planet, but I believe that Quickman could do the same. Either way, Wolverine just wouldn’t get the chance thanks to Quickman’s immense speed. It’s just too much for Wolverine to deal with at this point. Also, in a fair fight I believe that Spiderman would definitely have the edge. He’s Spiderman after all!!!!

  4. The host of the Phoenix Force has the ability to manipulate cosmic energies and to tap into the life-force reserved for future generations, thus denying them existence. It can wield this energy to project beams of immense destructive force. It can even transmigrate throughout time and space by folding its energy back into itself, causing it to collapse akin to a black hole and then reform itself upon reaching its destination!! It can directly absorb energy such as Cyclops’ optic blasts or even the entire energy of a sun. It is also capable of absorbing the energy and life-force from a foe. As it is the nexus of all psionic energy, it has mental abilities of cosmic scope, including telepathy and telekinesis. What would likely happen in a fight is that Wolverine would activate the Phoenix Force right away, realizing that this was a powerful foe. Quickman would vibrate so fast that Wolverine couldn’t see him, not realizing that his senses like smell and hearing were far beyond normal human capabilities, if he even knew what human capabilities were. Wolverine would track him down and hurl a building at him with his mind(Phoenix Force.) Quickman would easily dodge it and hurl a quick-boomerang at him. Wolverine would then open a portal through space and time. The boomerang would go through and reappear hitting Quickman in the head from behind. Then Wolverine would come and finish him off with his bone claws. Watch the Xmen, dude!! It states many, many, many times that Admantium is unbreakable. With his Phoenix force this DEFINITELY makes him on Planet-busting level. He could destroy the Earth with a single blast of light, invade Quickman’s mind and mind-control him(which wouldn’t be the hardest thing in the world since professor Xavier trained him in the art and Quickman IS a robot, like any other NetNavi), crush him under a building while he wasn’t looking, go back in time and plant a bug with an explosive on him when Dr.Wily wasn’t looking and detonate it in their time(which is technically not against the rules, or simply just use one of his other skills. By the way, on the picture you showed Quickman.exe by the way, which wouldn’t really change anything, including the output of the battle, just an FYI. He has been many things before, including but not limited to:
a master samurai warrior, headmaster, adventurer, instructor, formerly bartender, bouncer, spy, government operative, mercenary, criminal, soldier, sailor, miner, assassin, and many more. And I haven’t even MENTIONED his healing factor yet. By the way, when I said “Manga” I meant the Rockman 7 volume 2 manga. Quickman is no easy foe, but neither is Wolverine, and in the end, I believe Wolverine would come out victorious.

    • Admantium is only unbreakable for Marvel characters. Give Kenshin two minutes with Wolverine and he’ll break his claws! The battle is using Quickman EXE, for classic version, I spell him as Quick Man. That may be why you thought that he would lose. The classic version may not stand a chance, but the exe version has gone up against guys like Megaman in the past! His speed is insanely good and his sharp boomerangs guarantee that one good hit is basically all that he will need to take the win. I agree that they’re both powerful fighters, but I just don’t think that Wolverine has the physical abilities that are needed to defeat Quickman

  5. “One good hit” is not “basically” what he will need to take down Wolverine. You do realize that when he has full access to the Phoenix Force like you said he is pretty darn close to invincible, right? The moment he gets close to dying, he. Will be surrounded by a cocoon of energy, also known as a Phoenix egg. The extent of how strong this barrier of energy is is currently unknown, although it did survive getting smashed by Superman Prime, a building collapsing on top of it, and some other durability feats. I doubt that Quickman, exe or not, would be able to even make a dent in this ball of light. Also, you commented about “Admantium being unbreakable only to marvel characters.” Where did you get your info there, Dreager1? Admantium is breakable (sorry that I said it wasn’t) but in the Marvel comics database it says that 1/2 of a ton of Admantium could survive a direct hit from a nuclear bomb!! Hulk has lifted much, much, more that a billion tons before.

Do you really think Quickman.exe NetNavi is as strong as the Hulk?!?!?

In the Marvel database it said that someone with a degree of superhuman strength on par with the Hulk could maybe warp, dent, or in extreme cases, break Admantium. There are lots of diferen cels between Quickman(Classic) and Quickman(.exe) but the. Only one that really affect this fight is that Quickman exe has the strange ability that whenever he powers up, he gets a 15% atk boost for 3 turns. Assuming it works as well as in the Navi world as in real life, and we’re still assuming here, that will do… let’s see… nothing, nothing aaaaaaand… nothing. His attacks wil do pretty much nothing to him in the first place anyway, I mean the most damage he can rack up is if he gets a power up, does the 15% for 3 turns thing, and gets lucky and has the giant boomerang. He whacks Wolverine on the head with it. Wolverine heals instantly. Hid healing factor is natural, unlike Deadpools, making it much more affective, since it is always on. Yeah, uhuh. “Gone up agains guys like Megaman.” More like Megaman was the most powerful person he ever met who then 2 seconds later he lost to.

And when you look at this, don’t try to decode this and figure out what yo I can reply to, actually look at the facts and change it!

    • Are you sure about Superman Prime? I don’t think that he ever encountered the Phoenix and trust me…he could easily slaughter the entire Marvel multiverse!

Okay, Wolverine is powerful, but he won’t be able to win. It’s time for my in depth reply!

About the Admantium, I did say that it was virtually indestructible initially and it is essentially unbreakable for most Marvel characters. That being said, strength differs by universe. Goku could arm wrestle the Hulk and Superman at once and he’d definitely crush them. Destroying Admantium would literally be child’s play for him. The same could be said for the Phoenix Force. It’s really unstoppable in Marvel, but it wouldn’t be in good ole DC!

I have to say that I do think that Quickman could physically match up with the Hulk, but the speed would make that a non factor.

Look….Wolverine is a powerful Marvel character and he could hold his own against the rest of the Marvel superheroes. I definitely wouldn’t disagree with that. That being said, Quickman is just on a totally different level and his abilities are superior to most. Quickman’s speed will permanently keep him out of Wolverine’s range and his strength is definitely enough to hurt him. The healing won’t be enough to save Wolverine and the brunt force of Quickman’s attacks will defeat him. His injuries may heal, but stamina is not quite as simple
