Kakashi vs Might Guy

Kakashi vs Might Guy
Might Guy finally makes his blog debut with this round. It’s definitely been a long time since the blog’s conception so it’s surprising that it’s taken this long. Luckily for Might Guy fans, he will be starting off on a high note. Kakashi may have the sharingan and an incredible array of jutsu, but it will not be enough. I used to pick him when it came down to a fight, but Might Guy’s taijutsu is just far too impressive at this point. Kakashi would not be able to keep up with him. Might Guy wins.

  1. Wouldn’t Kakashi destroy Guy easily with his kamui techniques? I mean, Guy might be better in taijutsu but Kakashi definitely has the advantage in ninjutsu and raw hax. I’m going to assume that Kakashi has access to his Susano’o plus his six paths power boost, and with both of these taken into consideration, he should be able to tank at least one kick or attack from Guy. Kamui should be fast enough to tag Guy if it was fast enough to tag Madara after he became the Juubi Jinchuriki.
That being said, Guy could probably still one-shot Kakashi if he’s able to get pass the Susano’o and its defenses. I’m not really sure how strong Guy’s strongest attacks are, given that when he used them Madara wanted to see how strong they were and so he didn’t bother to dodge or block those attacks. If I had to take a guess, I’d say that Kakashi takes this win about 6/10 times. There’s still a decent chance that Guy might get lucky and hit him, so he could take it depending on how soon Kakashi uses Kamui. If he used it quickly, then Kakashi should win. If not, then Guy wins.

    • Kamui could definitely do the job but I think the issue is the speed difference. Guy should be able to just zip in there and take Kakashi down real quick. I don’t see him being able to tag Guy since he already has trouble with moving targets like that. Kakashi’s endurance is also low so a single hit from Guy would take him out. It’s definitely the kind of sudden death fight where the first hit wins though

  2. K so a lot of confusion goes into this matchup

First, im going to start analyzing war arc kakashi, this is the strongest version of Kakashi we see besides from kakashi with DMS.

So in strength and destructive power, Guy would take this with his gates, His 7th gate has been capable of blowing up islands, so its likely that the 7th gate could one shot kakashi with daytime tiger. In a taijutsu match, guy would probably be a bit more superior to Kakashi, but kakashi is a better tactical fighter then guy.

In speed, these two are roughly even, Guy could be superior with his gates cause the gates do increase his speed, but kakashi has kept up with the 7th gate, so I don’t think its that much of a problem

So, in a battle with war arc kakashi and war arc guy, its kinda close,

Kakashi’s only real chance of winning is with kamui and being able to snipe off a part of guy’s body.
Guy has a better chance cause he actually has similar speed and better destructive ability then kakashi, and overall has better options for winning then kakashi trying to snipe off a part of guys body with kamui.
And guy does have the 8 gate, which tbh should easily turn kakashi into paste with like 1 or two hits, but like i said kakashi could possibly hit guy with a kamui attack, after all Anonymous did say he could tag madara with kamui.

If we are talking war arc kakashi and war arc guy

I would give it to guy 7/10 times

Now, for DMS kakashi against war arc guy.

Then essentially guy has low chances of winning

Kakashi with dms could simply just send most of guy’s attacks through to kamui dimension, after all with dms, he has access to both the short range and long range of kamui, so he could snipe guy from a distance, and if guy gets too close he can always retreat to kamui’s dimension or send guy there, or ya know simply phase through his attack with kamui.

And guy using the 8th gate is basically asking for guy to lose, while i do believe guy can easily break kakashi’s susanoo, a guy who can just phase through all your attacks is just broken, Hell if guy uses the 8th gate, Kakashi could just simply retreat to kamui’s dimension and wait out the fight until guy dies, if he chooses not too again, he could simply send guy there with kamui or at least snipe off a part of guys body. Though im sure guy could figure out a strategy to hit kakashi with a deadly attack when he least expects it, and im also sure he would see the 8th gate as a complete waste as he would probably know kakashi would phase through all his attacks or just retreat the battle.

Overall, Kakashi is getting carried thanks to kamui

So for DMS kakashi agiants war arc guy,
    Kakashi’s chances are 8-9/10

Im sure guy could pull off some sneaky move to hit kakashi with a lucky blow, cause i know danm well if guy gets a hit off from the 7th or 8th gate, Kakashi is sin serious trouble, but due to kakashi’s kamui hax, Kakashi has better offense and defense then guy does.

So overall here are the results

    Kakashi-3/10 Guy-7/10

    DMS kakashi-8-9/10 Guy-1-2/10

    • This is definitely a tough one. I think DMS Kakashi could win but only if he had more time to get used to the powers. I don’t see him being able to go intangible and use the abilities with the same level of skill that Obito had. He only really had that form for about an hour max and didn’t get to use it to his full potential. That’s why I’d still lean on Might Guy here by going 8th gear and just destroying Kakashi before he can get his bearings. Might Guy would ultimately die but not before claiming the victory here.

Kakashi can’t afford any slipups in using his phasing at all or he dies here and Might Guy can stay in 7th gate mode until he has a clear opening. They’re usually treated as being about equal in speed when they’re both in base mode and became really big rivals. So with the massive boosts from the 7th gears I don’t think Kakashi is going to be keeping up when Might Guy is serious. It would just be an explosion of speed as Might Guy takes the advantage here and waits until he has the opportunity to land the decisive blow.

For Kakashi Kamui will also be risky because of that chakra drain although by the end of the series his limit seemed to be over 10 times instead of the previous 3.
