Bass vs Melkor

Melkor is one of those beings whose power transcends our current knowledge. It is very hard to defeat him and nearly impossible to destroy him. Luckily, that’s where Bass comes in. Melkor’s hammer can be deadly if you are hit with it and he has shown resistance to mind control, but Bass has brute force on his side. You can never be immune to a good ole fashioned punch once it has reached a certain degree of power and Bass just has the edge here. His speed is limitless and he has a large array of energy attacks. No blast can breach his force field and he also has Hubstyle at the ready. I’ll be the first to admit that Melkor may be tough, but he is simply outmatched. Bass wins.

  1. You need to know the difference between Melkor and Morgoth. The guy you have up there is MORGOTH not Melkor who was a more powerful being who was capable of warping reality with his tune of creation/discord. Morgoth on the other hand is a weakened evil Melkor who was stuck in a physical form…Get what I’m saying? Its like two different personalities and beings.

    • But, those are seriously the same guys. Morgoth is a weakened version who got physical form, but he’s the same guy. It’s like placing half of yourself in the digital world while being in the real one, they’re both “you” in a sense.

      • Melkor was powerful but when he began using the name Morgoth, he began losing his power. Get what I mean? We need Melkor at his most powerful not him as Morgoth.

      • Oh, no worries, this is composite so any abilities that he had as Melkor are fair game. The battles can take place at any point in the character’s career so he is in his most powerful state. Like how Bass may be fighting during his Hubstyle moment where he was strongest or in Beast Out. We just start them off at their strongest point in time.

      • Bass doesn’t have anything to defeat a spiritual being who could easily sing Bass into non-existence.Yep a spiritual being.

      • Are you stupid or what? Melkor as his true spiritual form is transcendent. Don’t give me that darkness overload bullsh*t because darkness overload is still bound by time and space while transcendence means beyond time and space.

      • I’m going with the or what this time. Melkor is a spiritual being and that’s the problem here. It will be difficult for him to land any good blows on Bass and energy attacks can definitely affect transcendent beings. Melkor just wouldn’t stand a chance here. Bass has the edge in speed as well as power.

      • Nope. Bass’ attacks cannot hit things that are beyond time and space because it will be like shooting at nothing.

        Speed: Debatable on their forms
Strength: Melkor has the edge, being able to shape continents with his bare hands whilst Bass constantly stalemates small cyborgs like Megaman.
Durability: Melkor again for not even continent busting, world shaping Valar/archangels were capable of destroying his essence.
Power: Bass has done nothing to show he’s a planet buster let alone a continent buster whilst Melkor has proven more than otherwise he is a starbuster (Note destroying the sun and moon in the events of Dagor Dagorath).
        Experience: Possibly evenly matched.
        Final Winner: Melkor
        Deal with it.

      • I gotta disagree on the analysis. Bass has the edge in every area. #SettleitinSmash is practically his catchphrase at this point. His speed advantage alone gives him a huge edge here. Shooting at nothing guarantees that you will hit something. Melkor can hide for a while, but he can’t escape.

      • -.- You are the greatest liar in the entire world. Bass does not have the edge in anything. Also transcendence means that Melkor is not truly in this world while Darkness Overload still is so the attack would go through him as though Melkor wasn’t there in the first place but yet his spiritual form is still there anyway.

      • That’s bold my friend. Bass owns every match and he always has the edge. Whether it be in coolness points or just through his awesome abilities. Never underestimate a dark navi such as him. As long as the spiritual form is there, that’s all that Bass needs to knock Melkor out of the competition.

      • Coolness? Ha! Bass is a midget cyborg with a kid’s voice while Melkor even if he is in his weakened form as Morgoth, is a huge, spiky armored mofo wielding the hammer of doom called Grond. Its people like Morgoth who make kids like Bass p*ss their pants and run off crying. Also no Bass cannot hurt spiritual beings. Has Bass ever hurt a GHOST? NOPE. Speed? What use is speed if Melkor just yanks him back with telekinesis and sadistically kills him in a crushing grip? Invincibility? Lets see how much Bass enjoys having a mountain or an entire country dropped on his head.

      • Melkor’s hammer is good, but it’s too slow. Bass can resist the telekinesis with his raw power and he would definitely outspeed Melkor. I’m confident that his energy blasts would still be able to damage Melkor’s astral form and a mountain won’t stop him. Admit it, Bass is too fast for Melkor and that’s why he takes the win. He’s just that good!

      • I’m beginning to think you’re a troll. Energy attacks affect the physical body so you think it will affect something NON-physical? Ever tried hurting or cutting the wind with a knife? Nothing happened to the wind and thats what will happen Bass shoots at Melkor. Also proof that Bass has resisted HIGH levels of telekinesis? No proof = Bass loses.

      • I’m no troll….trust me on that. It would be too much work if you ask me. It’s just not in my nature. Energy attacks affect just about everything because energy isn’t really physical. Telekenisis is just a person’s mental strength vs the opponent’s physical strength. Bass wins that one everytime.

      • Thats a no-limits fallacy right there. Energy has only been shown to affect physical things and nothing else. Also telekinesis is mental power vs mental resistance which Bass shows no feats for.

      • No, that’s telepathy. Telekinesis is a completely different thing. We’re not making no limits..if anything, Melkor would fall to the fallacy. Energy is just that good. When has it not affected a spiritual being? We could just let the two fighters have a stand off as Melkor hides in the spirit realm and Bass in the physical, but that wouldn’t go anywhere.

      • In Skyrim when you shoot lightning at an ethereal being, does no damage. In Dark Souls, you use an energy spell on one of the ghosts: ALSO no damage whilst the ghosts can still hurt you. You need this curse on yourself in order to be able to damage normal ghosts and Melkor is an extremely powerful, primordial spirit we are talking about here and not just any ghost. So Bass is at great disadvantage.

      • Sure, but you can also just call that gameplay mechanics. Melkor is strong, but it will be tough for him to deal damage to Bass while in that state and going physical will result in his ultimate destruction. Either way, he can’t land a hit on Bass though since the navi is just too fast. Bass will eventually take the win via energy attacks.

      • Actually in that state, he can hit Bass with a starbusting energy attack easily or telekinetic starbusting attack. Bass loses and navi means crap when you’ve got species like kryptonians, beyonders, valar, maiar, eternal titans in media.

      • We’re gonna need some feats to back up those starbusting feats. I really don’t see Melkor pulling that off. Navies mean everything as long as they have top tiers like Bass, Protoman, and Megaman. Seriously, these guys never give up. Bass can also reflect or absorb all energy blasts so that won’t work. Melkor needs to get up close and personal if he wants to win and that will require him to be solid and then get pounded by Bass.

      • Dagor Dagorath in the Silmarillion, Melkor destroys the sun and moon and escapes from a void beyond time and space (there you go. Read the books). Also if he goes up close and personal, Bass would get annihilated. You have no proof whatsoever that Bass is stronger than Melkor physically.

      • Right…but it all depends on how he did that. I do plan on reading the LOTR books, but is this a prequel or a spinoff. Anyway, that sounds pretty hardcore, but he’s still no match for Bass. Bass blew up a Black Hole and he’s massively FTL to the point where it’s scary!

      • Its vague on how he destroyed it much like Tolkien’s other works. Tolkien writes it that way so his readers imagine or try to think of the scene themselves.

      • That’s possibly not as good a feat as it sounds then. For all we know, he just wished it away and we know how much credability I put into those kind of feats.
