Natsu vs Kirito

As awesome as Kirito is, it’s hard to picture him winning this fight. While Kirito’s speed is incredible in SAO, it likely wouldn’t last long against the higher tiered fighters of Fairy Tail. Their abilities are definitely worthy of the Shonen rank and Natsu could easily speedblitz Kirito all day without a whole lot of effort. His fire abilities would also outrank Kirito’s sword skills. Kirito’s ability to fly does level the playing field to an extent, but Natsu’s got the physical edge. Natsu wins.

  1. Natsu, no contest at all.Fairy Tail characters are all around faster with better reaction times, and waaaay more durable. Even in the beginning of the series, Natsu was capable of devastating city blocks. In fact, he did it the first episode. Now, after the current timeskip, he goes around one-shorting S-Class mages without a sweat. His sense of hearing allows him to hear miles away, and he has the precision to snipe that far. Last but definitely not least… One-shotting one of 18 war gods is no small feat… Ever.

    • Agreed. As a character, I like Kirito a lot more, but there’s no denying that Natsu easily outranks him in all physical attributes. With Natsu’s speed, he could likely one shot Kirito like many of his other opponents.

    • That’s true, it gives Natsu another edge! That being said, I wouldn’t say that Kirito ever cheats on Asuna. He always lets the other girls know that they’re just friends. While it was a little sad for Asuna fans that Kirito introduced her to Sinon as just a friend, Kirito likely just doesn’t really want to alienate his other friends. (Which is still not a good reason) Still, Kirito’s always been a solo act so I think he’ll keep it real! (In defeat)

  2. we have seen kirito in action putting out spells from Sao mages surely he can do the same to natsu rendering natsu useless at ranged combat making him need to come close in combat in which kirito outranks him there surely
