Suggested by Anonymous Zeus is a pretty strong god with lightning abilities and super abilities far beyond those of mere mortals. That being said, Odin has displayed far more impressive feats over the years. While he is usually content to just sit in his throne all day he can get serious. Odin’s energy blasts would put Zeus down for the count and Zeus has nothing even close to being comparable to Odin’s power. Odin wins.
Are you counting Marvel and DC’s Zeus in this, or just Regular Pop-Culture Zeus?
It counts all of the above
Thanks for clarifying!
Well, if it’s real mythology, then Zeus wins. Why you ask? Well, because they are both immortal, but zeus is 100% immortal, but Odin can still die on ragnarok, so the fight will just go on and on, until ragnarok comes up, and Zeus will completely obliterate Odin. But since it’s the marvel universe, Odin wins. He just got more power, and Thor can put up a good fight with zeus, but when he fights Odin, Odin wipes the floor with him (Thor).
Yeah Marvel definitely changes things up but that’s a good point for the mythology angle. I can definitely buy into that and it’s a good reason for why Odin would lose.
