Rogue has more powers than I dare write. Gambit has his playing cards, but in the end he’ll be utterly crushed. Gambit just doesn’t have the speed or power to take care of Rogue. She’s too powerful in the end. Rogue wins.

I think some people have forgotten just how fast
And how powerful Gmabit is.
He is definitely fast and powerful, but he’s still really outmatched in this fight. I think his being able to outmove Ironman’s targeting computers is a bit much, but he’s a very capable fighter to be sure.
Ends in going past the friend zone.
It’s always sad when that happens!
They are romantic partners. Why would these two fight? Besides, Marvel generally portrays Rogue as the more deadly one monamie.
Magic is the only good explanation that I could think of.
