Master Chief vs Slade

Master Chief has a lot of guns at his disposal, but Slade has dodged such equipment in the past. His martial art skills easily surpass Master Chief’s and he also obtained fire abilities from Trigon. I don’t think that Master Chief will be able to keep up with such a powerful fighter. Slade wins.

  1. Not really. Master cheif 117 would cream because he’s invincible when he went to the library of all knowledge and the librarian made him invincible. Also, his weapons could cream Slade in 2 seconds because he has the personalized anti-infantry homing assult bullets, energy sword, and a rocket-launcher.

    • Or close to invincible anyway. One simple does not become invincible unless you are Bass. Slade is very fast so Master Chief will have a tough time keeping up with him to land those hits.

  2. Also, Master Chief is more than 10x stronger and faster than a normal human. His Mjolnir armor recharges in less than 10 seconds and is stronger than ever since it’s made of titanium alloys.

    • I don’t know about him being 10x stronger and faster. That definitely makes things interesting if you are sure about that. Slade’s advantage is his speed so if he loses that, then this could get tricky

  3. I am sure of that. Also, he is not close to invincible, INVINCIBLE, period. You know how bass “comes back” so to speak? We’ll master chief “comes back” to but he’s invincible because every time he dies he goes back in time to when he just died and comes back, so like Dark Schneider’s spell wouldn’t work because he could just come back before he cast the spell. Also, you are right about Slade being a powerful opponent but his only primary weapons are dual machine-guns and Katana. He does have pretty fast reflexes, but it is nothing compared to Chief’s powers. He once survived a freaking SUPERNOVA for 16 hours until someone picked him up. There is no way Slade could win this. Just change it so chief wins.

    • By the way, huge fan, although you are kind of a fanboy of Bass, but I don’t blame you because I am and have been for a very long time.

      • Well, I’m definitely a huge Bass fan. Glad that you like him as well. I still don’t fully comprehend the term “fanboy” since we’re all fans of a character anyway, but it’s cool

    • Master Chief can’t come back to life. Where did you see that? Also, I’ll need to see that SUPERNOVA feat. Master Chief is skilled, but I don’t think that he could keep up with Slade. Slade also has mastery over fire thanks to the final season of Teen Titans

      • He CAN come back to life. He does millions of times when you play as him in Halo and he re-spawns. Also, this is a blog that contains fights from all forms of MEDIA, right? Well media means any form of widely used electronic communication. Also, he does tons of times in the show, not to mention the things he does in the books. He CAN come back and he is way stronger and faster than Slade with his genetically enhanced bones. He slapped a missile off course which proves that he is stronger and Slade isn’t faster than him. He’s dodged shadow-anti infantry bullets before and ran faster than 50-MPH hour before. You clearly underestimate master chief and don’t know what he’s endured to save the human race. Here is a speed feat: “John focused his mind on motion. He leaped over a three-meter-high wall. He punched at concrete targets—shattering them. He threw knives, sinking them up to their hafts into target dummies. He slid under barbed wire as bullets zinged over his head. He stood, and let the rounds deflect off the armor. To amazement, he actually dodged one or two of the rounds.”

      • That’s gameplay mechanics so it doesn’t help. He can’t come back to life…ever. That’s beyond his capabilities and that last feat isn’t impressive. It’s decent, but any good human can dodge bullets, take a look at Batman. The wording just makes it look better than it actually is. Slade is a devastating warrior and I don’t believe that he would lose

      • The definition of fanboy is a person who thinks the character who they like is completely invincible and un-defeat able even though he isn’t. In short, the definition of a fanboy is you.

      • Don’t make me laugh….Too late! 😆 Anyway, that’s a funny theory and I wish that you were right. I don’t really believe in the term “fanboy” though since people usually just use it when they start to badly lose a debate

  4. Slade could not win because at the age of 17, Master Chief went through a transformation called Spartan II augmentation procedure that made him have reflexes 300% better than before. It also made his skeleton 15x stronger, have boosted eyesight, perception, heightened memory and much smarter. When it was done, he was nearly indestructible already. Ex: his Mjolnor armor weighs 1/2 a ton but Master Chief still jumps around like he’s on the moon. He also lead his small task force of 14 starships and beat 3 armies- the Insurrection, the Alien Covenant and the Flood. He also has a motion tracker on his arm with a 80-foot radius so Slade wouldn’t be able to “sneak up on him.” If Slade himself had some type of radar, he has a radar jammer too. Another weapon is his M60 Magnum which has precision accuracy over 400-ft and is armor piercing. In the original Halo, his magnum could one-shot everything in the game, even a tank. He also carries the M7 sub machine gun which has a range of more than 155 ft. He also seems to possess extraordinary luck and can usually find exactly the weapon he needs lying on the ground, so it doesn’t matter of his loadout can only hold one or two weapons. On top of all that, he can use special equipment in the field which includes the overshield, which triples his armor, active camo which creates an illusion that Chief is not there, the bubble shield which is a portable force field made out of plasma that can stop ALL projectiles, and the regenerator which increases his already enhanced regenerative abilities to Deadpool’s level. Also, when the Elites allied themselves with the U.N.S.C. during the Human Covenant War, the 2 sides traded weapons giving Chief access to even more weapons like the Needler, Plasma Rifle, and type-51 Carbine.
    Some of his feats:
Falling from orbit at more than 10,000 mph and land without a scratch
    Running 50 mph
Has defeated 3 entirely different armies multiple times,
Destroyed an entire Covenant Armonna single-handedly
    Prevented galactic genocide. TWICE.
    Beat that.

  5. Sorry, got the wrong facts. He actually prevented galactic genocide 3 times and beat four armies, the Insurrection, the Alien Covenant, the Flood, AND the Prometheans. Some of his other feats are at age 14, without armor, he beat three trained ODSTs with weapons in a fight. He took out unyielding Heiroprophet which was a covenant super station that had a 500 ship fleet around it with only two ships and a hand full of spartans. He also flipped a 3.25 ton Warthog over like it was nothing and is strong enough to punch through reinforced tank armor. Once, with Cortana’s help, he even slapped a nuke off course. He is definitely faster than Slade because when he was 14 years old (right after surgical augmentation) he and the other spartans were fast enough to avoid auto targeting machine gun fire with ease. If he was fast enough to dodge bullets at 14, imagine what he is now.

    • I’m still not totally sold on Master Chief. He’s tough to be sure, but Slade is very powerful and fast as well. With his fire abilities, not even the Teen Titans were able to match up to him. He’s not lacking in durability and in hand to hand combat, he’s basically unstoppable. Master Chief has a lot of weapons that give him an edge in that respect, but I don’t believe that it will be enough to win this time. You could always throw in some requests for him so that he can land some wins on the blog

  6. Sorry about saying he survived a supernova. I actually don’t know when/how, but my friend knows a lot more about Chief than me so I’ll ask him😄. (He did survive a nuke when he was holding on to it, though!!!! “At the end of Halo 4, Chief detonates a nuke by punching it with his fist. This should kill him instantly, but he survives. Halo 4 never explains how he is not vaporized.”-Halo wiki.) Slade’s fate is inevitable. He has fought off way more powerful enemies in the past, and it is not the first time he has fought a magic user. The Prometheans had sorcerers and he killed them in seconds. Slade would be no difference. Master Chief’s suit is fireproof so Slade’s fire abilities wouldn’t help him. Master Chief has even fought Subject Delta and lived when the Flood invaded the Earth the 2nd time. Also, where did you here about him DEFEATING the Teen Titans? I looked it up numerous times and didn’t find something about him defeating the Titans, only things about the Titans defeating him. When, on the rare occasion he got away it was by the help of his robots that he made or having something hostage. I truly believe Chief would obliterate Slade. Besides knowing some Chineese magic and being at peak physical condition, Slade is a completely normal human being. Please change the victor.

    • I wouldn’t call that a feat at the end of Halo 4 until its explained. Slade has fire powers thanks to the show and he’s far superior to the average villain. In Season 5 he took them down pretty much effortlessly with the exception of Raven, not to mention that he also took the JLA down except for Green Arrow. Master Chief is tough, but I really don’t see him winning this round

      • I CAN explain it. Cortana tried to use a force-field to shield Chief at the last second, but the force field died and Chief was left on his own. The explosion was smaller than expected and his armor+enhanced bones held through.

  7. That iz complete nonsense I watched all of da TT episodes and watched all movies and slade falls in lava and dies. Master chief survives a 900 BILLION DARK MATTER MEGATON BOMB EXPLODING ON HIZ BACK. MC winz >:)

  8. Hmm… Got me there. You’re right about you probably knowing more about Slade than me. Anyway, I don’t think I ever saw Slade beating the Titans in a TT ep. although I haven’t watched all of them so tell me if I’m missing out. 😄 The guy labeled Helghast is my friend that I told you knows more about Master cpChief than me. Tell me HOW exactly that Slade could win though? Chief has met an Angel before in Halo and the Angel resurrected him. Kind of like how the Dragon-Balls revive Son Goku. Plus he’s almost invincible alone so it doesn’t matter even if he couldn’t resurrect. He has YEARS more battle exp. than Slade and I like Slade, but he is simply outclassed in this match.

    • The email addresses that you guys are using to comment are interesting and the IP addresses are identical..hmmm. No matter, if that guy can bring some proof to the table to help Chief, then maybe the tables can turn. You’re definitely missing out on the Titans, I recommend checking out Season 4. Resurrections don’t help and he’s not even close to invincible. Superman isn’t even close to being invincible and he could destroy Master Chief with a flick of the wrist. I don’t think that he has more experience than Slade since Slade has been an assassin for years. MC is cool, but he’s no Slade

  9. 1st of all, Master chief has been in the army for DECADES so that is taken care of. I do agree about Superman defeating Chief(if he’s not invincible) but I think it would take a little more than a flick. Also, I’ll check out the Titans season 4, but why did you say that resurrections won’t help? After all, your favorite character Bass resurrects and did you ever say that his get ability wouldn’t help? After all, Master Chief can resurrect right when he died so in a way it’s more powerful than the get ability. The get ability is more powerful solely, but it is not necessarily the most useful science it takes time. And again, I ask you to tell me exactly HOW Slade could beat the legendary Master Chief 117!!!!!

    • Superman can basically destroy a planet with a flick, Master Chief wouldn’t stand a chance. Resurrecting on one’s own is all right as long as the character doesn’t actually lose. If the Dragon Balls or someone else has to revive the character, then it doesn’t help. Also, Bass revives before he is actually destroyed which is why its legit also…..nothing is stronger than The Get Ability. Slade just needs to slice and dice the Master Chief. He can’t come back to life or regenerate so that would be the end of that.

  10. For starters, he can regen especially if he has a regenerator or one of his perks. His perks literally make him a god. He can jump about 500 ft straight up in the air and slam his fist down so hard it creates a shockwave. It is like the get ability. I already told you how it was like that b/c to a normal human it would look like he just survived any attack because he just comes back exactly when or even before(which he did in Manga Ch.9) he died. That is why he is invincible. I admit he is no match for Superman or Bass, qbut he is VERY powerful. He had perks for literally every-thing, ranging from super-strength to-like my friend said- throwing megatons bombs. Slade cannot win.

    • He’s not literally a god as far as I am aware. He can jump high and make a shockwave, but it’s hardly 500 feet. He can’t come back from being dead. Can you show some proof for times when he’s come back because he can’t come back to life. In the Halo universe, that would just be too high tier. Master Chief is strong…for a human. He can’t really compete with opponents that are beyond that level. Slade has the quickness to end this round

  11. I own and play all halo games also the movies and the books MC could win against BASS EXE (u are a fan boy of bass) HA I doubt that slade can beat bass let alone the legend that is chief.

  12. Sorry, my friend is kind of a crazy Halo fan. Anyway… Do you even KNOW what shadow anti-infantry bullets are!?!? They are bullets that go 45x the normal bullet speed and is especially MEANT to counter super humans. Master Chief dodged them when he was 22. A regular humans reaction time is about 140 milliseconds. Master Chief topped 12. You want proof of him coming back from the dead? Fine.
    wiki.answers.com › … › Halo › Halo 3
Lord Hood and the remaining survivors back on earth are holding a remembrance service. However in the Halo 4 Master Chief was dead because they show inside of him. He comes back…
I found a similar answer on the actual Halo site. You have to admit that THAT is a feat.

    • First of all, the link didn’t work. Second of all, Master Chief can not come back from the dead at will. It’s physically impossible for him. Also, we’ll need proof on the shadow bullets. Proof that they are 45x faster than bullets and proof that he dodged them and didn’t just avoid them. I think Slade’s still got this. MC is tough, but just not tough enough

  13. My friend got it wrong there called seek hitters or something like that and he toped 12 milliseconds to doge them when he was 12 top that FANBOY

  14. This was also found on the Halo site. “Certainly in every Halo game I’ve played so far, Master Chief has died many, many times, but he’s always come back from the previous save point :)”

  15. No, it isn’t gameplay mechanics. There is even a video on YouTube that SHOWS him coming back from the dead. I’ll give you a link later.

  16. Maybe, but seriously Halo 3 ends with him dying like he does hundreds of times, but then in Halo 4 he wakes up and grabbed his jet pack, killed the guy commanding the starship and jumped out of it just before it exploded. (It looked pretty bad-ass)I forgot to mention he can survive in the vacuum of space. Can Slade do that?

  17. R u kidding me?!?! Master Chief would just drink one of his perks, jump out if the atmosphere and fire one of his mix between a plasma grenade and a megaton bomb. It’d probably blow up more than 1/2 of the planet.

  18. This is the battle slade hits MC with his ultimate katana, it breaks. Then slade sneaks up on MC he detects him and slaps him the end.

  19. 😄. Ha ha. By the way, I am the green guy, just changed Email address.
But seriously, Master Chief’s armor weighs half a ton ,which is what a buffalo weighs. He CAN dodge the shadow anti infantry bullets and here’s proof. When a bullet intersects an enemy wave, the range of firing angles on the wave that would collide with the bullet are guaranteed to be safe by the time the wave reaches its target. As the enemy wave travels outward, this safe region traces out a region of the battle field as if your bullet cast a shadow of safety. These types of bullets are especially made to counter someone who is much, much faster than the average human, therefore going 45x faster than the average bullet. Not a lot of game characters can dodge them besides an A-Class Strider and Master Chief.

    • We still need links and scans to show that. Master Chief is cool and all, but we have to be careful when Gameplay mechanics get involved. Master Chief’s armor weighs a lot which is also the tricky part of it. It’s a risky move and definitely a bit of a gamble as well which makes things interesting. Verrrrrry interesting indeed, which is why I believe that Slade may take this round. He’s very fast

  20. I thought we already settled this. With his perks he can go up to speeds topping 120MPH WITH his armor on. He’s jumped pretty high in the comics without perks so I think you can guess about what his grav. jump with perks would be like.

  21. Snake v.s. Master Chief
    Alex Rider v.s. Master Chief
    Olimar v.s. Master Chief
    U.S. Agent v.s. Master Chief
    Steve Trevor v.s. Master Chief
    Polar Bear v.s. Master Chief
    Goomba v.s. Master Chief
    Sherlock Holmes v.s. Master Chief
    Captain Kirk v.s. Master Chief
    Dracula v.s. Master chief
These are all guaranteed wins except for Olimar because of his Pikmen.

    • Guarenteed wins eh? I’m all for free wins, but you may be underestimating some of these guys. Either way, I’ll start working on your requests. The first ones will pop up later this week or on Monday

      • Well, US agent might put up a good fight but Master Chief’s enhanced abilities and future technology should be more than enough to win this match. As for the rest of them, I feel confident that Chief will pull through.

  22. Here IZ how it goes Bruce bribed chuck Norris 2 lose and chuck is MC with no armor and a mustache and MC IZ Jesus with armor on him. Who else haste that deep of a voice?

  23. Ha Ha!!😄 funny. although there is an ep. of Halo where he “Proves” that he’s chuck Norris.
Someone said that if Chief took off his helmet the world would end, so….

  24. OMG!! My friend wasn’t kidding! Proof: “The latest installment in Microsoft’s Halo franchise is a runaway success — already toppling sales charts with $300 million in sales in its first week. Halo 3 is so popular among youth that hundreds of churches have adopted it as a recruitment tool. Hosting violent, mature-rated gaming parties hasn’t been the most popular of decisions. Youth ministers use the game’s plot as a way to discuss good and evil. One Georgia pastor uses Halo to draw parallels between God and the devil. As any teenager could have told you: Master Chief is God.”

  25. By the way, thanks for posting those blog matches that I asked for Chief. It’ll definitely rise MC’s blog rating by a ton, but I still don’t agree with this match i’m afraid and here’s why: Seriously??? Not useful info??? We have show you SOOOO much I doubt that even if we had some not entirely useful info that in 99.99999999999% of situations MC wins. Have you EVER changed the victor in a blog fight? Dude, stop being stubborn and being a complete fanboy of Slade. I like Slade too, not lying I do. He IS pretty cool and all, especially with his magic. Just give me a mock fight, MC v.s. Slade, 1 SITUATION where Slade wins. If you do that and I can’t prove you wrong in ANY way whatsoever then I’ll totally believe that Slade would win.

    • Most of Master Chief’s info didn’t seem to be factual and Slade still has the edge. I’ve switched plenty of matches in the past. Slade just won’t lose this one. He’s got the edge in most of the notable categories

  26. Okay, let’s examine the most notable categories:
Speed: MC: can go 120 MPH with a 1.5 ton suit on, which is probably about 140MPH at most.
Slade: in peak phys. condition, probably 20MPH at most. He could maybe do some magic somehow to make him run faster, 50MPH at most.

Strength: MC: Can flip over more than 3 tons with 1 hand.
Slade: Again, peak physical condition but no special powers averaging around lifting 1/4th of a ton maybe.

Weapons: MC: There are so many I can’t even name them all but here are some of them:
Covenant carbine type-51, an energy sword, sub-machine gun, U.N.S.C. SAW, (My favorite) the Gravity Hammer, and many MANY more.

Slade: Dual sub-Machine guns, Magic, and Katana. (If there are more that I am not aware of you can tell me)

Armor: MC: Mjolnir armor that survived a nuke in the middle of the vacuum of space, that’s all that I need to say.

    Slade: No notable armor.

    Now, please change it.

    • MC is fast in speed, but combat speed is a different matter altogether. In a close combat scenario, he wouldn’t be able to keep up with Slade.
In strength, Slade just needs one good slash from his sword to end things, so one hit is all that he needs. MC has one chance of winning this round and that is getting some new feats in the next Halo game

  27. Actually, sorry for saying he has no notable armor. I learned that he has a light-nano fiber vest, but in the end it doesn’t matter. MC will win.

  28. One slash from a katana?? Did I not already tell you that suit survived a nuke to the back in the vacuum of space carrying a dark matter megaton bomb that also exploded on his back at the EXACT same time! I know your going to say I don’t have proof so I do this time. “Master Chief was blasted into space by the Arbiter betraying him and shooting him with a gravity cannon. After that the was shot downwind a nuke by U.N.S.C. because he was mistaken for a UFO(Unidentified Flying Object). Then the black matter megaton bomb that he almost always carries was accidentally triggered and exploded as well. Then he was left in the vacuum of space until the ship Unto Dawn picked him up four years later. At that he survived a supernova for 16 hours and the ship risked getting sucked into a black hole to save him.”
Proof. Did you hear that? He was drifting in space for FOUR YEARS!!! Now that you know I have proof, know will you change it?

  29. Lol.
I’m DReager1 here and it’s my job to analyze thier weapons, armor and skills to find out WHO WOULD WIN A DEATH BATTLE!!
    Goku v.s. Superman
I’m a total fan of DBZ by the way.
Before you declare Goku the winner, definitely look up “death battle Goku v.s. Superman on YouTube
    if you haven’t already.

  30. Yes, 1 slash from a Katana would kill a guy who survived/tanked 6 anti-tank assult energy cannons directly to the chest without energy shielding.

I know DeathStroke’s Ultimate Katana should not be underestimated no matter what the situation is, but come on, a magical Katana breaks through enchanted nano-byte Titanium alloy fused with Bibranium armor?

    • The blasts knocked him out! o-O Sure…he survived, but a Katana is sharp and would finish him off. I just don’t think that it would break on impact. Even if it couldn’t pierce him….Slade has fire abilities that could take him down since the energy blasts could defeat him

  31. 1st of all, this was before he turned invincible. 2nd of all, the energy blasts were at least 28x more powerful than his Katana will ever be. 3rd of all, the blasts didn’t defeat him, he rises up and kills the grunts/Elites after they surround him it was just I got these pics of someone who wanted to tell me that MC was powerful, but he only showed me these pics. I know what actually happened because I have the comic at my home. 4th of all, his energy shields were down. 5th of all, he was fighting tons of the Covenant while he was shot. If he wasn’t he could’ve probably just dodged it easily. 6th of all, you mentioned the fire thing again! I already told you that his suit is fireproof. NOW can you change it, or do you have even more excuses?

    • Master Chief was never invincible. Also, nothing is fire punch proof. Think of the physics that would have to be involved! It’s surreal…it’s madness….it’s Slade! MC is tough, but he just wouldn’t be able to find a way to contain Slade

  32. Okay, let me just clarify this. In the comic books it said that DeathStroke has the strength of “ten grown men.” We’ll in the show it said that Master Chief has the strength of a fleet (30-40) of trained ODST’s. Also, this was before he was injected with steroids, perks, PyronH12, and lots of other strength boosting items. Figure out how heavy the chief is, and triple it. After you figure that out, double that, and that is how much the chief can lift. Because in Kg mode he lifted 2x his own body weight. We’ll the average man weighs 189.8 pounds. We’ll just assume that’s about what MC weighs. Triple that is 569.4 pounds. Times that by 2 and you get 1,138.8. Pounds. His MJOLNIR armor raises his strength to, and he has flipped a 66 ton Scorpion tank before. And I found out his correct speed, too. Well you’ll need to have extreme reflexes to dodge a bullet but MC already has that so it doesn’t count. You need to be able to move your whole body 40MPH to dodge a regular bullet. Now shadow-bullets are 45x faster than the average bullet. So 40×45=1,800. MPH. Also, when he has Cortana plugged in (which he almost always does) Cortana can enhance his speed even further. Now let’s talk endurance. While wearing his power suit, UNSC doctors said he has near limitless endurance. Now what about smarts? Well the usual Spartan candidates had IQ’s well over 160. Master Chief’s was around 215, don’t know the exact amount. The Spartan Augmentation II enhanced his brain even further, allowing him to process hundreds of particles of information per nanosecond. We can assume that leaves his IQ around 240-260, maybe more. So his real stats are:
Strength: can lift 1,800 lbs+steroids+perks+augmentation=2,200 lbs. (the Hulk’s record is 1,000!!)
    Speed: 1,800MPH+Cortana= 2,000MPH.
    Endurance: almost limitless.
    IQ=215+augmentation=250
You can’t ignore this. These are actual facts that I calculated myself. You probably still aren’t convinced, but if you are, please change it and if you don’t please give a legit answer, not one of those “we’ve got to consider all the possibilities because we have already.

    • Endurance won’t really be a factor since the match won’t drag on for a very long time and the IQ won’t really help either. The main deciding factor will definitely be their attack strengths and speed. Master Chief is fast, but he can only move so quickly and as far as short term bursts go, they’re about even and I would give Slade the edge. Slade is an assassin and he knows how to minimize his movements while maximizing the effects. Master Chief is great when he’s at long range and against impossible odds, but Slade would quickly make this a short range fight and then he would win with his fire enhanced abilities.

Also, there’s no way that he’s even close to Hulk level in terms of strength. Maybe Spiderman, but that’s about it

  33. W/ all do respect bass couldn’t win against da rest o da media. 🚬😗🔫💂🃏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  34. Yeah, sure. lol. Spider-Man can only bench-press 30 tons while Chief can lift a 66 ton tank! One good punch is all that MC needs to end this match. Regular Spartans rip through titanium like they are orange peels. There is not 1 thing that DeathStroke has that MC doesn’t have except training to minimize the movements, but he couldn’t rely on that because MC has the -10-feet radius scanner that prevents Slade from sneaking up on him. Also, if you have a certain tactical package equipped, the scanner’s radius is increased to 40 feet. MC is better in every way possible.

    Goku v.s. Superman
Definitely look up “death battle Goku vs superman” if u haven’t already.
Time to see if the Man of Steel can defeat the pride of Saiya!!

    • I recommend checking out My Goku vs Superman video. It’s on my channel on Youtube. It’s pretty accurate!

MC is tough, but he cannot be compared to Spiderman…at all.

MC is tough, but Slade is better in a close combat fight, and that is what it will ultimately come down to

  35. Yes it will come down to a close combat fight and MC is trained in 4 different martial arts and can shatter buildings in a punch.

  36. A regular human with a sword v.s. a augmented human with hundreds of weapons and battles armies that all have futuristic technology. Take for example the Promethean Knight. Master Chief has defeated hundreds of them at a time. It can teleport, has NRG guns, VERY deadly energy knives, and futuristic armor. The real match should be Slade v.s. Promethean Knight, not MC. DeathStroke is good, but no match for Master Chief. One of Slade’s feats were falling 4,000 feet from a plane. MC fell from SPACE!!!!

    • Slade is basically augmented and he has more weapons at his disposal. I counter the armies with futuristic tech feat with him beating the Justice League. BTW, there is no conceivable way that MC could beat all of those Knights…I just don’t buy that. I know that it happened, but I’m not sure that I agree with it. Still, MC is very impressive and I do think that the new Halo game has a decently high chance of turning the tides in his favor.

      • More weapons at his disposal!?!?!?!?!?!? Master Chief has more than 170 weapons “at his disposal.” Also, you can’t just say that you just don’t agree with Chief beating the Promethean Knights. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s true. Then I can say that I “don’t agree” with Slade gaining fire abilities from Trigon. Slade is not “basically augmented” he IS augmented. Do I really have to tell you the facts of your own guy?

      • Games can have plot hax, so it’s okay to disregard established facts at times. Only when necessary of course…..Still, we can’t disregard Slade’s fire abilities since they’re pretty lethal and did happen. I don’t know too much about Slade, except that he’s pretty awesome. The Chief has more weapons, but Slade is just stronger.

  37. Well, I do know a lot about Slade and MC and i’m telling you that MC would pwn him. I have researched DeathStroke and DeathStroke is not as strong as him. Here is Slade’s history:
Slade Wilson was sixteen years old when he first enlisted in the United States Army, after faking his age. After serving a stint in Korea, he was later assigned to Camp Washington where he had been promoted to the rank of Major. In the early 1960s, he met Captain Adeline Kane who was tasked with training young soldiers in new fighting techniques in anticipation of brewing troubles taking place in Vietnam. Kane was amazed at how skilled Slade was and how quickly he adapted to modern conventions of warfare. She immediately fell in love with him, and realized that he was without a doubt the most able-bodied combatant she had ever encountered. She offered to privately train Slade in guerrilla warfare. In less than a year, Slade mastered every fighting form presented to him and was soon promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Six months later, Adeline and he were married and she became pregnant with their first child. It was at this time that the war in Vietnam began to escalate and Slade was shipped overseas. At home, Adeline gave birth to their son Grant.

Some time later, Wilson volunteered for a medical experiment designed to stimulate his adrenal gland in the hopes of increasing a soldier’s ability to resist truth serums. The experiment did not go as expected, and Slade fell into a coma. When he awakened however, he discovered that was now capable of using 90% of his brain capacity, and his strength, durability and agility were increased to near superhuman levels. He applied for re-assignment with the army, but they refused him. Although his condition was now stabilized, depression took hold of him and he was desperate to serve his country. At this time, Adeline became pregnant with their second child, Joseph. Unable to further his career in the military, Slade turned towards hunting. He became a world famous safari hunter and great wealth followed soon after. Adeline always suspected however that Slade felt unfulfilled.

A few years later, a group of hired mercenaries broke into the Wilsons’ mansion and kidnapped young Joey. Adeline attempted to fight them off, but a gas grenade prevented her from saving her son. When Slade discovered what had happened, he knew he could not keep the truth from his wife any longer. Slade was not only a world famous safari hunter, he was also one of the world’s deadliest and most highly sought after assassins – Deathstroke the Terminator. He promised Adeline that he would save their son. Together, they flew to Tangier and squared off against a rival mercenary known as the Jackal. The Jackal wanted Slade to reveal important information relating to a client or else he would have his men kill Joey. Slade gambled on the idea that he could save his son before the Jackal could give the order. Unfortunately, Joseph’s throat was slashed by one of the criminals before Slade could prevent it, destroying his vocal cords and rendering him mute. After taking Joseph to the hospital, Slade’s wife, enraged at his endangerment of her son, tried to kill Slade by shooting him, but only managed to destroy his right eye. Afterward, his confidence in his physical abilities was such that he made no secret of his impaired vision, marked by his mask which has a black featureless half covering his lost eye. Deathstroke was a founding member of Lex Luthor’s Secret Society of Super Villains. He was seen hiding in a warehouse south of Metropolis waiting to ambush the Freedom Fighters with several other members.

The battle didn’t last long, and by the end, Deathstroke had impaled Phantom Lady through the chest, calling his action “just business”.

He was the employer of an undercover Dick Grayson, whom he hired to train his daughter Rose. However, after the two had a confrontation with Superman, Deathstroke discovered that Nightwing had been teaching Rose the values of heroism. He could not kill Grayson in front of his daughter because doing so would undo all of Slade’s teachings. Nightwing offered a deal: he would stay away from Rose if Slade would keep the metahuman villains out of Blüdhaven. The deal held for 34 hours when Slade, under the orders of Alexander Luthor, Jr., the real leader of the Society, went with several villains- who included old Titans and Doom Patrol foes and Brotherhood of Evil members Monsieur Mallah and Brain- to drop Chemo, another fellow villain who appeared to be a nearly brainless monster made of pure energy and radioactive chemicals, on Blüdhaven, killing thousands. Slade gave the explanation to the Brotherhood that Nightwing should be made to believe that he can never go home again.

Grayson took the first of his revenge by bursting in on Deathstroke and Rose’s training session, revealing to the latter that the Kryptonite that Deathstroke had implanted in place of her missing eye was radioactive and deadly to humans as well as to Kryptonians (though slower in its effects on humans, as revealed by Lex Luthor’s old possession of a Kryptonite ring that forced him to transfer his brain to a cloned body). Angered, Slade went after Nightwing with a grenade, only to have Rose try to stop him. Amid the smoke of the resulting explosion, Rose fled, telling her father that she hated him. Dick disappeared as well, but not before leaving a note for Slade warning him that he’d be back to make him pay for Blüdhaven.

At the climactic Battle of Metropolis at the conclusion of Infinite Crisis, Slade was confronted by Batman, Robin, and Nightwing. During the struggle, he was questioned regarding his motives for aiding the Secret Society. His claims of monetary motivation were deemed unsatisfactory, and he was told to take responsibility before being rendered unconscious.

Deathstroke is hired by Talia to do freelance work for the League of Assassins. His Target? Batman.

In Batman and Robin #9 Slade Wilson, Deathstroke the Terminator was revealed to be doing freelance work for the League of Assassins. Working for Talia Al Ghul, Slade controlled the body and physical actions of the current Robin, Damian Wayne in order to kill Wilson’s old foe, Dick Grayson, who had taken up the mantle of Batman. Deathstroke is able to control Damian’s actions thanks to a neural-implant inserted into Damian’s spine by his mother while it was being surgically replaced. Grayson defeats Deathstroke by taking advantage of the two-way connection between him and Damian by using a taser on Damian, the resulting electric shock overwhelming Deathstroke’s enhanced senses.

Though the original Titans stories have been retconned by the DC Relaunch, Kyle Higgens, writer of both the Nightwing and Deathstroke titles, has stated that Slade still has a history with Dick and is still his archnemesis, and that the titles will crossover in the future.

    Powers and Abilities

    Slade Wilson.
    Added by Lastsonofkrypton
He possesses several abilities that are almost superhuman due to his military procedure.
Enhanced Mind: Able to utilize 9 times more than a human’s brain capacity for information storing and sorting, his mind is practically a computer built for strategy and problem solving. He can work out any sort of battle or attack ahead of time and predict an enemies movements based on what they have displayed so far, showing that his memory borders on almost total recall. He is also ingenious in devising solutions against superior aspects of an opponent, can observe and exploit, and can calculate distance, time, and speed at lightning-fast speeds. His sense of time is also superb, bordering on perfection.

Enhanced Reflexes: His reflexes are instantaneous, so that he is able to dodge point-blank gunfire and out maneuver almost any opponent, no matter how well trained.

Enhanced Strength: His entire muscular system was hardened and strengthened, making him “as strong as 10 men.”

Enhanced Stamina: He is able to exert himself at peak capacity longer than any human can ever hope to.

Enhanced Speed: He is able to run and move at speeds of up to 30 mph.

Enhanced Senses: His senses have been highly augmented as well, making him able to see, hear, smell, feel, and taste things better than an ordinary human.

Regenerative Healing Factor: His healing powers are enhanced, making him able to recover from almost any injury, such as gunshots, stab wounds, broken bones, brusies, and many more. He can heal much faster than normal. He was once stabbed clean through the chest and this didn’t do anything except slow him down and cause him pain.

Enhanced Immunity: Due to his healing factor, he is immune to most forms of diseases, infections, and foreign chemicals.
Aging: Also due to his enhancement, he ages much slower than any normal human, appearing much younger than he actually is.
Skilled Martial Artist: His martial arts skills combined with enhanced physical prowess have enabled him to barely best Batman several times. He was defeated only when Batman was helped by Nightwing and Robin.

    Notes
Deathstroke is the only person known to have a freelancing relationship with Ra’s Al Ghul’s League of Assassins. Some of Slade’s work for them include brainwashing and grooming Cassandra Cain to lead the organization, and using technology given to him by Talia Al Ghul to prevent her son from being “corrupted” by Dick Grayson, by gaining control of Damian’s body and attempting to force him to kill his mentor and “brother”.
Though never explicitly stated, it is quite possible he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. He is fully aware of Dick Grayson’s identity and through his work for Talia and the League of Assassins discovered Damian Wayne is the new Robin. It is likely Slade was able to therefore surmise Batman’s identity, and keeps it to himself due to his code of conduct.
Though Deathstroke is primarily a foe of Nightwing, he has had numerous encounters with other members of the Bat-Family:
Batman: Slade has dueled Batman on many occasions, and have a slight rivalry of their own.
Tim Drake: Slade has battled Tim Drake primarily during his altercations with the Teen Titans.
Cassandra Cain: Slade brainwashed Cassandra Cain for the League of Assassins, using the same serum he used on his own daughter, Rose. As a result, Cassandra has a strong adversarial relationship with Slade.
Jason Todd: Though they have had few and far between encounters face to face, when Jason Todd returned as the Red Hood, Slade assisted Black Mask in his attempts to assassinate this new thorn in his side, providing him with membership in The Society, and offering henchmen to aid him in his quest.

In the fourth and final season of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, an assassin by the name of Deathstroke appeared in “Bob and Carol and Lois and Clark,” played by Antonio Sabato, Jr. The only commonality is the fact that he is an international assassin known as Deathstroke. In Lois and Clark, Deathstroke is a former scientist. An accident in the lab exposed him to magnetic particles, permanently altering his body and granting him magnetic powers. His assistant, who afterward becomes his wife, helps by creating a special suit to contain his powers and keep metal from being drawn to him while out in public. The suit even has a symbol of its own resembling the force lines of a magnetic field, forming a stylized figure eight. After this, he becomes an assassin, murdering his targets with his powers, first by drawing the target to him, then by magnetizing the iron in their blood cells, causing a figure-eight mark on the chest as the person dies of a heart attack. He and his wife rationalize their actions as being the result of the accident, leaving them with no other way to make a living and rendering him a “freak”. The couple take the name Bob and Carol when they arrive in Metropolis. They become friends with Clark Kent and Lois Lane as they discover that Lois is going to be interviewing an eccentric reclusive billionaire. The couple plan to assassinate the billionaire before he goes public, taking his identity and thus his fortune. The plan is foiled when Superman interferes, destroying Deathstroke’s containment suit, which causes him to be magnetically drawn to a steel pillar until the police arrive. Very much like Superman, this Deathstroke kept a secret identity by wearing a pair of glasses. This is the only media appearance Slade’s wife has ever made.

Michael Hogan as Slade Wilson in Smallville.
    Added by Lastsonofkrypton
Michael Hogan portrays Slade Wilson in the tenth and final season of Smallville. In the show, United States Army Lieutenant General Slade Wilson is behind the Vigilante Registration Act, anti-superhero legislation that he has propagated while under the influence of Darkseid. In order to find out what Slade has planned, Oliver Queen volunteers to register. Lois Lane meanwhile confronts Slade, and discovers that Slade is a suspected war-criminal, known for torture and illegal methods of torture and interrogation. She however is too late to warn Oliver, and he along with A.C. are captured by Slade in a holding facility which is equipped with holding cells that can adapt to the heroes’ abilities. Clark Kent and Mera free Oliver and A.C., but Slade sets off the base’s self-destruction. He survives the explosion but at the cost of his right eye.

Having uncovered a significant amount of information about the Justice League, Wilson attacks Lois Lane and tries to force her to lead him to Clark Kent and the group’s secret headquarters. Hawkman saves her by fighting Slade (Slade using his signature katana), who dies saving her life. After surviving an explosion which would have killed a normal human, Wilson tells Clark that he is “beyond Death’s stroke, now.” Clark uses a Kryptonian crystal to send him to the Phantom Zone later saying that he would release him to stand trial after the VRA is repealed. However, General Zod takes Slade and sends him back to Earth, unconscious and with no memory of his time away, through the Phantom Zone portal activated by Clark’s blood – which Zod possessed due to Clark saving him with a blood transfusion on Earth – in an attempt to lure Clark into the Zone for revenge.

    Arrow
Slade has a recurring role on Arrow, where he is incorporated into Green Arrow’s origin. His mask is briefly glimpsed in the first episode, and he is fully introduced in the fifth portrayed by Jeffrey C. Robinson. Slade was later introduced in the thirteenth episode portrayed by Manu Bennett, where he reveals Deathstroke is actually his former partner and friend Billy Wintergreen who was also the godfather to his son Joe.

    Video Games
Deathstroke also appeared as a playable character in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.

  38. As you can see now. How much more info do I have to give you here? I mean, I’m going to give you a combat scenario, Kay? D.S. V.S. M.C, begin!
Slade fires sub-machine guns and finds cover at the same time behind a rock.
Chief gets out a covenant carbine type-51 and blows up the rock.
Slade takes advantage of the opening and charges at Chief with his Katana.
Chief takes out an energy sword for his second loadout and strikes Slade.
    Slade parries with his Katana.
Chief pushes harder and the katana breaks.
Slade stabs Chief with the broken end of the Katana.
Chief’s Mjolnir armor shields is lowered by half.
Chief stabs him near the heart, missing any vital organs but damaging him.
    Slade’s health is at 2/8.
Slade fires his gun at point-blank range.
Chief’s shields are at 3/16 health.
Chief activates regenerator field and gains health.
    Shields are at 3/8 health.
Slade fires M-88 pistol 4x and tries to get a better vantage point. 3 of them hit Chief.
Regenerator regains the health Chief had lost.
Chief uses his Carbine and misses.
Slade fires a Nalpalm grenade at Chief.
Chief activates his bubble shield and the grenade bounces off, not hitting a Slade though.
Chief gains health and his shields are now at 5/8 health.
Slade launches a fireball and magically heals himself at the same time.
    Slade’s health is at 3/8.
    Chief’s shields are at 1/2.
Chief finishes him off with a plasma grenade.
Slade will likely try to dodge the grenade but it has a moderately big radius. Slade could put up a light screen magic barrier of some sort like he did in the comics but since a hail of bullets went through, I feel confident that a grenade will too.
Slade didn’t even get through his shields! And I made it pretty unfair for MC too by giving him no tactical packages or upgrades, and I didn’t have the Napalm grenade hit Slade when it bounced off, either. I even made the fight that Chief didn’t have Cortana, his lifelong companion. I even did what you said and made there a close combat scene. How can a Slade win? There are many possible scenarios but this is one of the more likely ones.
Change the income of the battle so that it says something like MC IZ SO AWSUM SO SLADE DIEZ BECAUSE HE CANT WITNESS THE HOLYNESS/AWESOMENESS OF MC.

  39. Also the final boss from killzone 3 he invisabal whenever also he teleports and he has an entire helghast armory on his back and his armor is proof of all affects fire posin ext. and appears to have infanant amo a plasma gun a homing tri rocket lawncher a death gun jet pack with infinite ammo and fuel highly decorated soldier and millatary commander he once won a war with only one team (5 soldiers) of recruits vs an army of 5 million and Thay had tanks and the team had only rifles. Also he has better shielding than mc with all the time slow regeneration and his armor is near impregnable

  40. Also he has a charge up arc rifle wich means who ever is caught in the blast radius unless they are able to shrug of a 999 billion megacharge bolt they DIYE

  41. BTW Helghast his name is spelled Radec, not Radic. And yes he can do a bunch of cool stuff like cloak. I’ll give him a request for you:
    Radec vs StarLord

    • Also, if you haven’t already, do some research on him. He’s pretty cool. StarLord is too, so this will be an interesting match! And yes I mean Radec from Killzone 3. It’s time he earned his blog debut.

      • I’ll definitely make sure to do a lot of research on those two before the fight happens. I’m mostly aware of Starlord’s capabilities, but I’m not familiar with Radec. Once the blog starts posting matches again, you’ll definitely see this one right away!
