Suggested by JordyPresto0418 Lucifer Morningstar is a being who is near the top of the cosmic hierarchy. He is supremely confident and has several abilities like speed, flight, and even healing regeneration. That won’t be enough for him to take down the Prince of Asgard though. Thor is an excellent hand to hand fighter and while it isn’t often shown he also does have super speed of his own. Lucifer will not be able to keep up with Thor and ultimately that’s going to cost him. Thor can hit him with a barrage of blows which will quickly overwhelm Lucifer’s defenses. Thor wins.

hey hey hold on your horses, Lucifer is a being who possess Omnipotence which means he is someone who is able to do anything and on what basis you are comparing a omniversal being whose presence shook the entire creation, who hold the whole creation on his palm, who defeated devil, and evil presence 👽 who are far more superior than demigods, Lucifer had defeated gods in first universe who are like thor.
Being able to do anything isn’t as good a feat as physical strength though. For example this guy can in theory do everything that he need to do but he can’t alter someone stronger than him. Lucifer would need to demonstrate something like a big Kamehameha energy blast and high speed attacks to even make this close. I’ve never seen something like that out of him
This is a battle I would enjoy seeing on the big screen! That being said, I believe Thor should be able to win without having to put forth maximum effort.

Blinking out of existence is one of those techniques that doesn’t really work in practice. It’s cool to talk about of course and it makes for a fun visual but if a character does not want to be wished out of existence then it won’t work. That’s how it goes

Lucifer’s combat skills aren’t in the same league though. He hasn’t fought for millennia in the trenches the way Thor has. With or without the hammer Thor has the vast edge across the board in all stats here

That’s more of an author hyperbole to be honest. It’s not a bad feat but Thor’s are far better like trading blows with the Hulk, injuring Galactus through his universal armor, etc. Lucifer has yet to show that he can move with that kind of speed or take those kinds of hits

If you are talking about LA then I will agree, but if you are talking about comics then I would like to say you are a blind thor fan 😄 literally Lucifer is comics is something that create the things using demiurgic force, he will just erase thor out of existence in every universe possible.
It’s composite so we’ve got comics and live action. Even in the comics though I don’t think Lucifer has what it takes to claim victory here though. Cosmic omnipotence isn’t as good as having more combat ready type of abilities and Thor has much better speed and strength feats over the years
