Mario is a pretty strong fighter and he’s had many more power ups than Ike over the years. That being said, I have to say that Ike has the edge in this fight. His sword swings would be able to damage Mario, star power or not. Mario is quick, but he doesn’t have any speed feats that would place a big gap between them and Ike’s attacks are simply deadlier. He can block Mario’s attacks and land the critical blow. Ike wins.

According to the video, Mario is faster than sonic. So that would give him the speed advantage.
Perhaps, but I definitely do not agree. Mario has some fast forms that could help him to keep up with Sonic, but none that could keep up with Sonic’s faster forms
