Suggested by Sonic Amon has some good hand to hand skills and bloodbending abilities, but neither one of those options will be particularly effective against Phantomon. It’s a rough matchup for him because of this. Phantomon hovers at a good distance. He may not be particularly fast but his attacks are absolutely devastating which will deal a great deal of damage to Amon. Amon won’t really be able to dodge forever and Phantomon only needs to eventually land a few good hits. Phantomon wins.

Zaheer vs Amon

Suggested by Eric Amon is back again, but he’ll have a tough time dealing with Zaheer. Zaheer is able to fly which is something that most Avatar characters cannot do and air abilities are already hard to deal with even without that. Amon can move quickly and his bloodbending is useful, but it’ll be tough for him to land a hit on Zaheer or get through his wind defenses. Zaheer’s speed was really impressive and that is his main advantage in this fight. Zaheer wins.

Amon vs Katara

Suggested by Eric There are definitely a lot of pretty close fights in Avatar. A lot of the stronger characters appear to be fairly evenly matched. Katara definitely seems to be more proficient with her Waterbending than Amon, but he has better hand to hand skills and bloodbending. It’s definitely hard to know who to go with on this one, but I’m inclined to say that Amon would have the edge here. His close combat skills should allow him to dodge Katara pretty well and long enough for him to get in enough shots to take her down. Amon wins.

Suggested by Eric This is a pretty close fight. Amon’s expert hand to hand combat skills in addition to his bloodbending makes it difficult for any opponent to defeat him. The instant he makes contact with an opponent he can start to drain away their bending abilities. Still, Unalaq can’t be underestimated since he did temporarily become the Dark Avatar which significantly boosted his abilities. I’d give him the edge here since Amon will have a difficult time getting in close thanks to the large amount of projectiles Unalaq has. Their sheer power will keep Amon at bay. Unalaq wins.
