Suggested by Sonic A Gloomba is a pretty deadly foe because they can poison you with ease. You can’t allow yourself to make contact with them. Piranha Plant also has the ability to poison its foes so would it be immune? It’s hard to say but at least it would have some resistance. Either way it’s an easy win since the Plant can spit out fire and even throw out spike balls. Gloomba will be running for his life during the whole fight and will never know a moment’s peace. Piranha Plant wins.

Gloomba vs Thunder Birdo

Suggested by Sonic This is a match where having a projectile is so important. The Thunder Birdo has the clear advantage here because there just isn’t anything that the Gloomba can really do to get close. He can try to dodge the eggs, but he isn’t fast enough so that’s out of the question. Then you have the difference in size and raw power which means that it will be game over for Gloomba very quickly. This is a match-up he can’t win. Thunder Birdo wins.

Cheep Cheep vs Gloomba

Suggested by Sonic Gloomba always seemed like an underused Mario villain to me. There’s a whole lot you can do with the concept of an evil Goomba. The normal ones seem innocent enough while these guys pack a punch. That being said, I’d give Cheep Cheep the edge. They can keep slamming into Gloomba and the huge ones are quite large. They could very well swallow the Gloomba whole. Nothing the minion can do against a technique like that. Cheep Cheep wins.

Gloomba vs Porunga

Suggested by Sonic Gloomba is a pretty fun Mario villain even if he isn’t remembered too well at this point. Gloomba has heart, but that alone isn’t quite enough to defeat a dragon like Porunga. Porunga has never really had a chance to fight before, but thanks to his sheer size he could simply step on Gloomba and be done with it. At that point there isn’t anything that the little creature could do so it would be game over. Porunga wins.

Gloomba vs Anguirus

Anguirus has another foe to defeat and that would be the impressive Gloomba! Gloomba is a foe that you typically do not want to mess with, but Anguirus just needs to put his foot down and that will be the end of the match. Gloomba is not very fast or particularly powerful so he is not a threat to this Kaiju. Anguirus is one of the original Kaiju so his reputation precedes him. Anguirus wins.
