Suggested by iKnowledge Roderigo and Mercutio are both Shakespeare characters who aren’t remembered quite as well as some of the bigger ones. Still, they can fight and are also fairly cunning so you don’t want to underestimate them in a fight. I’d go with Mercutio having the edge here because he has proven to be quite adept at using the sword and really only lost the fight in one of the versions because the main character lost his nerve and got in the way. Such an accident won’t happen this time. Mercutio wins.

Mercutio is another skilled character from the old Shakespearean days, but he doesn’t have what it takes to defeat Mikasa. She is much faster than him and also more lethal in combat. He would have a difficult time trying to stay one step ahead of her here. My money would be on Mikasa winning in a matter of seconds. I just don’t see this fight managing to stay close since Mikasa could start the fight with a straight dashing slash and I doubt Mercutio could react to it. Mikasa wins.

Ancient Pistol vs Mercutio

Suggested by iKnowledge Mercutio is always ready for a fight despite being a practical jokester. He’s clearly practiced in secret while Ancient Pistol is afraid to get into action. He avoids it whenever possible so I have to assume that he’s just not very good. Mercutio should have no problem slicing him into defeat. There just isn’t room for two swordsmen in this ring so someone has to take the fall. Mercutio wins.
