Suggested by Destroyer Both of these grass types are pretty powerful Pokemon. That being said, Bulbasaur has the advantage here. Not only does he have a Mega Venusaur form to tap into, but he’s proven himself a lot more over the years. Turtwig is cool and will stay in the game for as long as possible, but ultimately he will end up faltering. He’s just not ready to keep up with one of the original powerhouses. Bulbasaur wins.

Turtwig vs Tyrogue

Turtwig is a pretty great longrange fighter while Tyrogue is the perfect close range fighter. So, Turtwig’s best chance is to keep Tyrogue away, while Tyrogue needs to turn this into a boxing match. I think Tyrogue’s speed will enable him to close the gap and whack away at Turtwig’s life points with his super punches. Tyrogue wins.

Turtwig has some grass attacks that can definitely be deadly. He’s pretty sturdy and isn’t really lacking in speed (Depending on the form) Of course Ash has a lot of pokemon who are sturdy and a lot who are fast. Turtwig’s a tough character, but in the end he’s just no match for Ash’s onslaught of pokemon. Ash wins.
