Suggested by Sonic Gomamon is a reasonably powerful Digimon. He has a full evolution line after all and is one of the originals but I would say he never got the forms that could match Gaomon’s. Gaomon was more of a fighter right from the start and he never lost that as he kept getting stronger. His Mega form would easily run rings around Gomamon’s and would be delivering devastating blow after blow. Gaomon’s level of power is at a higher tier and he wins in all the areas that matter. Gaomon wins.

Squirtle vs Gomamon

Gabumon and Squirtle
Squirtle is one of the tougher Pokemon around because he knows how to use his speed to his advantage. He’s definitely a lot better at hand to hand than Gomamon, but Gomamon has a large digievolution tree. He can evolve into the Gaogamon series and the mega form there is pretty tough. He gets energy blades, super speed, and a Kamehameha type of attack. That should be enough to take the win. Gomamon wins.

Gomamon vs Pikachu

Gomamon was always one of the weaker G1 Digimon, but once he got his digievolutions, things got interesting. Most of his forms are only average in terms of power and speed, but once he hits his Burst Mega form, then things get intense. Pikachu has incredibly speed, but stopping Gomamon may prove difficult. Gomamon wins.
