Gabriel Belmont vs Sesshomaru

Suggested by iKnowledge Gabriel Belmont is one of the stronger Belmonts in the Castlevania series but he’s up against a demonic fighter of incredible power. Sesshomaru’s abilities defy the power levels of the whole Castlevania verse in how skilled he is. Gabriel wouldn’t really be able to react to his moves or do much to counter them. The gap between these fighters is just a little too great. Sesshomaru wins.

Amane Nishiki vs Guy (Street Fighter)

Suggested by iKnowledge Guy is a strong hand to hand fighter but he isn’t quite ready for Amane just yet. Amane Nishiki is faster in combat and also just more skilled. Guy should be able to hold his own to an extent so this won’t be a one sided beat down or anything like that but at the same time I don’t see him really having a fighting chance here. At the end of the day he’s just outmatched and that puts him in a rough spot here. Amane Nishiki wins.

Yūki Terumi vs Leon Belmont

Suggested by iKnowledge Leon is a skilled fighter who can fight with a whole variety of weapons. None of them will be quite enough to take down Yuki though due to the difference in overall ability. Yuki is both stronger and faster than Leon which is an incredibly difficult barrier to get around. Yuki’s power also continues to grow as he fights while one hit can drain a lot of the life out of Leon. You can’t hope to play the matchup perfectly and once Leon is hit, it’s over. Yūki Terumi wins.

Klarion vs Kakuzu

Suggested by iKnowledge Klarion has a lot of magical abilities so you don’t want to underestimate him but Kakuzu is still taking this in a close combat brawl. He was able to hold his own against Kakashi for a period of time which is extremely impressive and his monsters will keep Klarion busy as well. The mage just doesn’t have versatile enough abilities to really take the win here. Kakuzu wins.

Sakamoto Days

It’s time to start another big Jump title. This one’s got a clear premise with a lot of appeal from the jump and the execution’s been solid. The action/comedy angle works with a fairly strong main character cast. I’ll have a review for the series once it’s finished but I like to think that won’t be for quite a while yet.

Overall 7/10
