Suggested by Sonic Rio is a powerful fighter with a lot of quick moves and a variety of energy attacks but he won’t be taking Chrom down for the count here. Chrom still has the edge in overall power and sword techniques. As fast as Rio can move, Chrom can match him blow for blow. Ultimately he has more experience and better well rounded stats so there won’t be much that Rio can do to stop him. Defeat is the only path that is available now. Chrom wins.

Nephrite vs Chrom

Suggested by iKnowledge Nephrite has illusion abilities which are really handy, however they won’t be enough to stop Chrom here. Chrom has the wider range in his attacks and should be able to dodge Nephrite’s lightning fairly easily. On the flip side, Nephrite will have a very hard time countering Chrom’s strikes or really doing much of anything against him. The gap in their skill levels is big and Chrom is significantly more powerful so a single hit could be fatal. Chrom wins.

Piranha Plant vs Chrom

Suggested by Sonic The Piranha Plant is back one last time, but this matchup is especially brutal for him since Chrom is a swordsman. Chrom can easily hack away at the plant’s leaves which will weaken Piranha quite a lot. At that point it will be a simple matter for Chrom to steel himself and rush in for one last blow. Chrom is exceptionally fast and talented with a blade so this is all part of the plan for him. Chrom wins.

Ganondorf vs Chrom

Suggested by Sonic Ganondorf and Chrom make for pretty equally matched fighters as with Ganon’s battle with Marth. The outcome is also very similar as I believe Chrom’s speed will allow him to claim victory here. Ganondorf is certainly powerful and the attacks that he lands will cause massive damage. That being said, Chrom can dodge enough of them to control the battle to an extent. At that point his superior swordsmanship will take over. Chrom wins.

Chrom vs Captain Kirk

Captain Kirk has really been taking a lot of losses lately, but I’m sure that they’ll die down once he has reached 100 battles. He’s certainly nearing that milestone and at least he’s losing to an experienced swordfighter. Chrom narrowly missed being playable in the current Super Smash Bros title and I’m sure that he’ll be in a sequel someday. He can win this match with a single slash. Chrom wins.

Robin (Fire Emblem) vs Chrom

Chrom is one of the major Fire Emblem characters, but I have to wonder if he will be able to win this round. His speed is impressive, but Robin has all of those elemental attacks at his disposal. Robin’s lack of mobility definitely hurts him, but he should be able to compensate for that long enough to steal away a win. Being playable in Super Smash Bros can definitely make a big difference in fights like this. Robin (Fire Emblem) wins.

Chrom is a powerful swordsman and he’s one of the more impressive Fire Emblem characters. He could definitely give Sephiroth a good fight in pure swordsmanship, but Sephiroth has a lot of other abilities to back him up. The Advent Children film really amped up all of his abilities and it made him a very large threat. He can now fight at a higher level than most other swordsmen and he would overwhelm Chrom with his pure speed. Sephiroth wins.
