Sonya Blade has some pretty intense hand to hand combat skills and she even has some mild energy based attacks. Vladimor Tod has your basic super speed/strength, but not even this vampire will be able to stop those energy blasts. If only he had some epic projectiles of his own. Sonya Blade wins.

Mad Jim Jaspers has powers that can barely be comprehended and yet, he wouldn’t last a second against Bass! Bass would destroy him in an instant. Mad Jim Jaspers wouldn’t even see Bass coming. Bass is just far too fast and far too powerful. He takes yet another win in this round. Bass wins.

The Piranha Plant is back, but he definitely lacks mobility. It would be hard for the Piranha Plant to land a single blow on the Primid. Not to mention that he probably couldn’t last that long against the Primid’s immense attack power. A couple of good punches should earn him the win. Primid wins.

Update 9/29/2019 Piranha Plant has too many combos to lose this now. The plant is an actual fighter and must be respected as such. Piranha Plant wins.

This is a tribute to the Karate Kid. Daniel Larusso knew the score as he entered the tournament, but not even he could defeat Bass! Daniel Larusso knows some basic hand to hand combat, but Bass is far more proficient at it and he would win rather easily. Maybe Daniel Larusso will be back someday! Bass wins.

Vakama is pretty tough, but in the end can he really hope to defeat Jaller? They are both pretty good at using fire, but I’d say that Jaller has the superior weaponery. His twin blade style will be hard to contain and his part thunder element will end up giving him the edge. Jaller wins.

This is a tribute to Batman Returns. Batman may have some pretty intense hand to hand skills at his disposal, but would it be enough to stop Iihiko!? I’m not sure about that, Iihiko has been able to take on guys like Medaka in the past. Batman’s basically toast in this round. Iihiko wins.
