Superman vs Raditz

Suggested by John Cenna Superman is a powerful fighter and I consider him to be the strongest comic book hero of them all. That being said, he’s in DBZ world and things get tricky over here. Raditz has a great amount of combat speed and he’s only gotten stronger over the years. The Xenoverse game gave him a nice power up which may not have been nearly as drastic as Gold Frieza, but we’ll take what we can get. Superman just won’t be able to keep up although he could maybe put up somewhat of a fight. He simply doesn’t have the stats needed to take Raditz down. Raditz wins.

John Constantine vs Superman

This is a tribute to the Constantine film. John may have a lot of experience against supernatural threats, but so does the Man of Steel. Magic may have a fairly strong effect on the guy, but Superman can fight at long range as well. With his speed though, Superman doesn’t even need to worry about how he’ll fight John Constantine. One good hit from any distance will end the fight in a snap. John may have a lot of good mystical defenses, but they can only get him so far when he’s battling one of the strongest fighters out there. Superman wins.

Superman vs Spectre

I still say that Superman is the strongest comic book character of all time and I don’t even consider it to be all that close. That’s why it’s always impressive when someone endures a punch from Superman. The Spectre battle was a blast back in the classic comics and one of the cooler moments. Reading that comic was a lot of fun. That being said, I certainly think Superman would completely wreck him in a fight. It’s hard to mess with Superman’s speed and flurry of blows. I included both scans so you could notice that Superman’s definitely faster than the Flash. He was going so fast that the Spectre had to step in. Well, I’m sure that the Spectre will return to grab some more wins. Superman wins.

Superman vs Hagrid

All right, it’s time for Superman to finally claim a victory. Hagrid may have some decent strength at his disposal, but it won’t be enough to deal with the Man of Steel. Superman’s superior speed and intellect will ensure that he doesn’t fall for any of Hagrid’s combos. Hagrid couldn’t endure a single hit from Superman and there’s no way that he can dodge forever. He will have lost the round before a minute would have passed. Superman wins.

Superman vs Boros

Superman’s finally back to fight another power hitter, but this won’t go very well for him. Lord Boros is a villain from the One Punch Man series and that title likes to be as extreme as possible. It’s essentially a parody of Marvel and DC or even of Shonen Jump as well. Characters are just insanely strong for the lolz and it reminds me a little of Toriko in that sense. Either way, Lord Boros would crush Superman physically and his speed is on a whole different level. Superman has the feats, but Lord Boros has the practical combat applications. I don’t see Superman lasting very long here at all. Boros wins.

Jaden vs Superman

Jaden-Yuki-jaden-yuki-20160193-445-334
Jaden has returned and his next opponent is Superman. Superman is heralded as one of the strongest superheroes in all of comics. I would argue that he is in fact the strongest. He’ll put up a very good fight against Jaden, but he won’t be able to stand up to Jaden’s large array of magical monsters and trap cards. Supreme King Jaden can even make his card effects real so no amount of durability will save Superman forever. Jaden wins.

Hanon vs Superman

Superman_The_Batman
Hanon is back once more and now he’s up against the Man of Steel! Superman is a powerful opponent who is easily the strongest comic book character of all time. As such, it’s always fun to compare him to the various anime powerhouses. As per usual, Superman simply can’t win this round because of the gap in speed between them. Hanon’s combat speed is off the charts and his destructive energy attacks will eventually take Superman down for the count. Being stronger than a locomotive simply isn’t enough this time. Hanon wins.

Takamiya vs Superman

Takamiya makes his debut onto the blog so it’s time for Superman to take another loss. He’s a pretty tough fighter, but he really lacks the power and speed that Takamiya has at his disposal. Takamiya is a true fighter and even Oga had a tough time trying to keep up with him. Superman is known for his battle smarts as well, but they won’t be enough to stop Takamiya. This is only the beginning for him! Takamiya wins.

Fuji vs Superman

It’s time for another newcomer to the blog and this guy’s definitely one of the stronger fighters to appear in a while. Fuji can easily level cities and I like to think that he’s a casual planet buster. Superman’s very fast and we’ve all seen his many FTL feats, but he won’t be quick enough to deal with Fuji. Fuji’s raw power and magic experience will help him pull through in this round. Fuji wins.

Superman vs Kilowog

Kilowog
Kilowog is a brave Green Lantern, but I sometimes fear that his vision of himself is a little distorted. He seems to think that he is the strongest GL around even when he is constantly defeated by other opponents. He’s tough to be sure, but Superman would easily be able to defeat him in a single punch. Superman has the massive speed advantage and I can’t let anyone forget it! He won’t be losing this round. Superman wins.
