Jack (5Ds) vs Yuya

Suggested by Sonic Yuya and Jack are both talented duelists with a whole lot of cards at their disposal. In terms of pure talent I’d say that you have to give this to Jack. He was one of the world champion level duelists for a long time because of how good he was and he can always hold his own in a fight. That said, Yuya was the main character of his own series which helps him out a whole lot because of all the cards he has. He got almost all of the summoning techniques by the end of the series and all together I would say his army is just more powerful than Jack’s. The Red Dragon Archfiends are definitely formidable but this time they just won’t be enough. Yuya wins.

Ren vs Yuya

Suggested by Sonic Yuya has a ton of powerful monsters and trap cards at his disposal but those will still not be enough to defeat Ren. Ren got considerably more powerful over the years compared to how he was at the start of Shaman King. In his current mode he would be able to quickly overwhelm Yuya in close quarters combat and has enough speed to dodge any counters. Ren wins.

Yami Yugi vs Yuya

Suggested by Anonymous It’s time for a battle of high level duelists. Yuya has a lot of dragons up his sleeve which will prove tough for the King of Games. Despite being known as the best, it was rarely Yugi’s deck that would win out the day. His Egyptian God Cards are great, but on average Yuya’s monsters are significantly stronger than Yugi’s and they would be able to stand up to the big 3. I just don’t think Yugi is up to winning this fight. Yuya wins.

Yuya vs Yuma

Suggested by Sonic It’s time for a battle of Yugioh protagonists. Naturally being the main character of a series with over 100 episodes always ensures that you will have a very formidable roster of monsters in the end. Yuma collected most of the 100 Number Cards which are mostly fierce some in their own right although only around 10 of them are serious threats. Then he has his ensemble of normal monsters at the ready. Yuya’s normal monsters aren’t quite as numerous and his normal Performa Pals tend to be weaker than Yuma’s standard creatures, but what really sets him up to tip the scales is his array of dragons. In the last episode Yuya was able to fuse his main 4 dragons into 4 new ones, adding on to the normal 4 base ones, the original 6+ fusion ones, and the dark forms that he obtained. Additionally he has some pretty high level monsters that aren’t dragons and physically his dark form showed more impressive amounts of strength than Yuma’s Super Saiyan mode. Yuma ultimately won’t be able to keep up with Yuya. Yuya wins.

Yuya vs James Bond

Yuya_Sakaki_head
Yuya Sakaki may be one of the greatest dueltainers on the planet but it hasn’t come at the expense of his dueling abilities. He knows how to think out of the box and can hold his own against just about everyone when the pendulum is swinging his way. James Bond doesn’t have the same level of charisma and his gun skills aren’t enough to tip the scales of battle either. Looks like this is going to end badly for him. Yuya wins.

Yuya vs Jaden

Yuya and Jaden have been compared a lot and I can certainly see why. Both of them started out as very enthusiastic duelists who just played the game to have a good time. Both of them were then forced to meet their inner darkness when villains took their friends hostage and increased the stakes. Jaden conquered his inner darkness and continues to use it to fight the good fight and Yuya appears to be taking the same path. Yuya has even learned how to fusion summon as he follows in the legendary hero’s footsteps. Yuya’s done a good job, but he’ll never surpass the original fusion master. Still, he’ll put up a good fight and will provide a nice show for the fans. Jaden wins.

Magoroku Shido vs Yuya

Magoroku Shido is back, but he won’t be able to stop Yuya. While Shido has done his best to try and be an intimidating character, I can safely say that Yuya is already a whole lot more intense. His character really picked up during the second half of the first season and has continued on into the 2nd. Shido has a lot of cards, but Yuya’s pack significantly more punch behind them. There’s no getting around his fusion and pendulum monsters. Yuya wins.
