Detective Chimp makes his debut on the blog, but he won’t be able to defeat the Dark Knight! Batman’s far too clever and his hand to hand abilities are pretty potent. I’d also say that Batman’s a better detective in the longrun. Detective Chimp may have lost this round, but he’ll be back. Batman wins.

Wildcat may be good at hand to hand combat, but I’ve always considered Batman to be far superior. Wildcat’s a decent fighter, but he just doesn’t have what it takes to defeat an opponent of Batman’s caliber. Batman has a lot of gadgets at the ready and even without prep time he can win this round. Batman wins.
Batman vs Darkseid
Batman has his gun at the ready. He usually doesn’t use firearms, but he is pretty skilled with them. Darkseid has the omega beams, but Batman’s speed should allow him to dodge them while delivering some powerful GL ring blasts. Batman’s composite abilities are numerous and give him the edge. Batman wins.
Human Flame vs Green Lantern (Stewart)
The Human Flame is a pretty powerful opponent, but Green Lantern (Stewart) can defeat him. John Stewart has his GL Power Ring which can be used for many different forms of battle. Long range is always the best way to use it and he will defeat the Human Flame in this round. Green Lantern (Stewart) wins.
Gorilla Grodd vs Darkseid
Boodikka vs Green Lantern
Green Lantern is back and he’s up against Boodikka. Boodikka easily has one of the best designs from the Green Lantern corps, but it won’t be enough to defeat Green Lantern. Hal Jordan has had more experience than most other fighters can even dream of having. He’s not the type to be defeated. Green Lantern wins.
