The next battle is here!

Sonic was speeding across the solar system at incredible speeds. So far he hadn’t found anyone to defeat, but he knew that his luck would change once he reached earth. He sped into Battle City. After all if the city had battle in its name then their must be loads of fighters Sonic figured as he walked around town.

He saw Shadow walking around. Shadow looked pretty similar in appearance to Sonic, but he was black instead of blue. “Except when I beat him black and blue,” Sonic thought out loud as he grabbed a chili dog. “You think that you can?” Shadow said as he crunched the nachos that he was holding in his fist by clenching it.

“Yeah,” Sonic said as he quickly jumped out of the way as a Chaos Spear hit where he was. “I’ll show you that you’re just a faker,” Shadow said as he disappeared. “He’s using Chaos Control!!!” Sonic yelled as Shadow appeared behind him and knocked him to the ground.

Sonic ran up a building, but Shadow appeared and punched him down the 20 flights into the ground. Sonic quickly dashed to france, but Shadow kicked him into the Statue of Liberty. “Fighting at super speed is intense,” Sonic said as he dashed across a couple of planets and tackled Shadow from behind.

“Chaos Blast!” Shadow yelled as he erupted with energy that sent Sonic flying. Sonic quickly went into a speed surge and vibrated through the energy waves. A delayed response of energy hit him and he was knocked to the ground. “Vibrating through energy is risky eh?” Shadow smirked as he kicked Sonic into the lake. Sonic quickly ran in a circle which caused a whirlwind.

“Eat this Shadow!” Sonic yelled as he threw some dynamite and a nuclear missile in the whirlwind. “Chaos Control!” Shadow yelled as he appeared behind Sonic and kicked him inside. “Yes!” Sonic yelled as he reached in the nuke and took out a Power Ring.

“Gotta go fast! Gotta Go Fast! Gotta go fast and fast and fast and-,” Sonic would have continued, but Shadow blasted him with another Chaos Spear. “You mean business don’t you,” Sonic yelled as he started powering up. Shadow appeared in front of him and threw a punch. Sonic dodged the first 9000, but the next one hit him and he fell to the ground.

“No more games Sonic said as he disappeared. “What!” Shadow yelled as he teleported to the Grand Canyon, but Sonic was there and he punched Shadow in the stomach. Shadow fell over the canyons and landed on the ground. “How’d you do that?” Shadow said as he struggled to his feet.

“Easy, teleporting isn’t as instant as you think. If you move fast enough..you can see the person “teleporting” Sonic explained as he smirked. Shadow quickly teleported behind Sonic, but his face met Sonic’s fist and he was knocked back. Shadow quickly teleported up, but he was just in time to get kicked back into the ground.

“I see that he wasn’t bluffing,” Shadow thought as he got up, but Sonic kicked him into a mountain. “Teleporting is just another form of super speed, but it puts me at a disadvantage to his speed,” Shadow thought as he took out a chaos spear. “I’ll end this in close combat,” Shadow yelled as he ran at Sonic.

Sonic kicked the Chaos Spear out of Shadow’s hands and threw him into a mountain. Before Shadow could get up, Sonic punched him across the city and into Big Ben. “Chaos Blast!” Shadow yelled as he charged at Sonic, but Sonic grabbed him from behind and slammed him into the ground.

“Impossible!” Shadow yelled as he grabbed a gun and started blasting at Sonic. “Eat lead hedgehog!” Shadow said as he fired round after round. Sonic caught all of the bullets and quickly sold them all on ebay. “Nobody’s that fast!” Shadow yelled as Sonic kicked him to the ground.

“Ready to call it quits Shadow?” Sonic said as his Chili Dog landed onto his raised hand. He took another bite out of it. “No way! Sonic was able to tell exactly when the Chili Dog would land and he planned this all along!” Shadow exclaimed as he got up.

“Basically…yeah!” Sonic yelled as he punched Shadow. Shadow finally went down. Sonic’s last punch was actually a series of 3 million punches that were shot so quickly that it appeared to just be one mega punch. “I better go find someone faster to fight..and quickly!” Sonic said as he finished his Chili Dog and dashed off.

Shadow woke up a couple of days later. “I underestimated Sonic and that’s why I lost,” he thought as he looked around. He knew that he could beat Sonic in a fair fight….someone must’ve cheated..somehow. He saw someone running in the shadows and gave pursuit.
